The two blonde women waitresses were rude from the minute we walked in, tried to find a good seat for the football as were going to be there for 5 hours. The first one barged past us, then the second moved us from a 4 table seat to a 2 table seat a metre away but in very close proximity to four other tables so we moved again to tall tables and chair area where a couple were sat already and it was less crowded but again a four table. So the 2nd waitress who moved us at first came over again and said 'where are you sitting now' repeatedly we just said here clearly? Anyway time past we had more drinks and ordered food to share and another group of 4 came in british like us and the 1st waitress who barged passed us tried to get us to move to near the bar packed in like sardines again and kept disagreeing with my girlfriend saying why cant we move. Bear in mind the entire upstairs is still closed and empty with people continuing to ask to go up and the waitresses ask how many why etc. The gentleman from the group of 4 who they asked us to move for spoke to us and said I wouldn't have moved either I don't blame you for not doing as we had ordered drinks all night and food which would have been awful to eat sat immediately next to someone. Terrible service from the 2 waitress, considering its a pub not a restaurant they both needed a reality check, food was average at best, drinks were a decent price just ruined by these two blonde cretins. Every time they interacted with us they were shaking their heads and tutting because we didn't want to move, its a pub at the end of the day nothing more nothing less, its bar food. Eventually a couple came in and sat next to us and we all had a good night together they were rude to them aswell when they came in because george the guy wanted to change his drink 30 seconds after...

I had an incredibly disappointing and alarming experience at Pointer Pub that I feel compelled to share to warn other potential customers, especially tourists.
Upon entering the pub, one of the bar attendants immediately directed hostility towards me, implying that I didn’t belong in the country and should not frequent the establishment. This xenophobic remark was not only unwarranted but extremely offensive.
To make matters worse, the same staff member started shouting at me in front of other customers over something trivial that made no sense, causing a scene and making me feel extremely uncomfortable and unwelcome. The situation escalated when the staff member threatened me, saying that he might kill me. This was beyond unacceptable and downright terrifying. Saying I should go back to where I belong , ofc where I belong is much better than your pub - READ THE REVIWES , some customers charged 15 euros outside the bill - THEY ARE THIEVES The overall atmosphere was ruined by this encounter, and it was clear that such behavior was tolerated by the management. This is not the kind of place where anyone, especially tourists, would feel safe or respected. I strongly advise avoiding Pointer Pub at all costs. There are many other friendly and welcoming places in the area that deserve...
Read moreThe medium-sized bar is located in a convenient area to reach. The bar is not very large but also not small and can accommodate a reasonable amount of people. We sat at a shaky table and the wooden chair on which I sat was very swaying and weak, not giving a comfortable feeling to a weighty person like me. We waited a long time for the waiter and when it was too late I went to the counter myself and found that the order was made at the counter only. We ordered half a Guinness and red wine and a pizza from Margherita, the pizza was hot and fresh and baked just the right size, the yellow cheese was a bit industrial, and the tomato sauce was very simple, probably the kind that was bought at the supermarket. Since the place is not considered a professional pizzeria, there is no place to complain to them and only to bless the pleasant service, the food that came hot and fresh and most importantly, the price! This whole order cost us about...
