Hyatt Centric MG Road Bangalore — Hotel in Bengaluru

We booked one Studio Twin room with  pvt. courtyard  on the ground floor. For our five nights stay for two persons with breakfast, we paid Rs. 20275/-. We arrived around noon  and the check in process was smooth.  Let us now move to the review of facilities and my experience.|( Rating have been assigned in a Scale of 1 to 5, 5 being highest):-|A. Location : Located at 100 feet road, Indiranagar. Everything is close by. Extremely well located. (Rating 5).|B. Room :  The room on the ground floor  was fairly large  in size of 387 square feet  with a small courtyard. Room was slightly dated but clean with a queen sized bed  , a  large writing desk , one small dining desk,  refrigerator,  TV, wardrobe, iron and hair driers (on demand), a safe. Bed mattress was  comfy on the softer side, with large pillows and cushions and matching linens . The room was clean and have amenities like tea/coffee making facility, fully equipped pantry with microwave  oven, induction cooker, chimney, aquaguard and all required  utensils.. Tea/coffee  pouches replaced every day. Toilet is large and with an enclosed shower area. Toilet is fitted with sanitary fitings of acceptable quality. Toileteries like shampoo and soap were provided.  Quality of toileteries were of average quality. Room is well lit with good  air conditioning . Room has free wifi and signals are reasonably fast. (Rating 4 )|C. Facilities : The hotel being of  a serviced apartment class,  provides limited facilities. They have a small lobby with reception area, fax, printer and photocopying facility. Car hire service available.|(Rating 4)|D. Dining options: The hotel has a breakfast room and in room dining facilities. Breakfast is reasonably good and served to order basis.   (Rating 4).|E. Overall service : The hotel has very well behaved team of staff at the reception and also at its housekeeping and dining room. All requests are met immediately with a smile. (Rating 4.75)|F. Suggested improvements :- |1. Towels looks old and needs to be replaced immediately;|2. Hyatt Centric MG road, was the last leg of our 20 day India trip(2024). We had a 2 night stay here and had 2 rooms booked We stayed in various properties - Like Lalit, Radisson, Trident, CGH earth etc, and expectation was a similar or better service Hyatt was also a choice because of our previous experiences in Hyatt Manila. Our thought being, a similar hospitality feel to Hyatt Manila, would be a good transition from India to back home in Manila Disappointed to say, it wasn't so.

• We called on a day ahead and checked about the upcoming booking, told preference of nearby rooms and late check in
• As we checked in we realized it was not arranged so. After mentioning the request again, front desk managed two rooms on same floor
• we checked into the rooms and our parents felt it was a smoking room. They had to now change to another floor late in the night
• In our rooms, toiletries were for just one person. Had to personally request for more by going down to the reception ~ The intercom system in the room didn't work, even after adhering to the process the front desk suggested.
• We were patient and understanding of the fact of this being a possible result of late night check in, with us and the staff at Hyatt being tired. We hoped to see a better service.
• The last hotel of this trip was to have the best experience. We have experienced that in Hyatt Manila. Hoped Hyatt Blore will match it or be better
• Shared these complaints the next morning. Their staff immediately responded.
• From the breakfast floor if one misses the keys, they have to go down to reception, to be able to press the room floor. The staff on the floor cannot help, because of some process
• At reception, I clearly asked them if they will be able to provide a better service. Mentioned to them that I am fully willing to cancel the booking and move to the nearby Taj property. Wanted to continue the second night stay, only if they are certain of their better quality of service the second night. They assured
• The coffee for the family was on the house. There were desserts in the room as we arrived back. Seemed they worked to improve it
• Checkout the next day was slow.
• Instead of our car they brought someone else's car.

It was a rare and delightful experience, as I haven't often encountered staff members proactively offering suggestions and assisting with planning. This level of engagement added an extra layer of personalization to my stay, showcasing the staff's genuine commitment to ensuring guests make the most of their time in Goa.
