Looks great from the outside and even from the reception. But I feel this is more of a glorified lodge. I chose this hotel because it was very close to where I am currently for business. Initially, the parking was quite tight and difficult, The road leading to the parking entry had some work going on, and was all broken up, owing to which it took me around 5 minutes of turning and reversing to finally get the car in. The rooms was seemed quite old and broken, apart from being small and congested. The knob of the bathroom door was broken, and instead of fixing it they had installed some a hook to keep it latched to the door frame. The sheets and towels looked dirty and old. There were stains on the sheet, and one of the pillow cover was torn a little. The room was sprayed with a strong fragrance that it felt nauseating in the beginning and took some time for me to feel settled. The cupboard's mica seemed to be coming off, and they had fixed it with cellotape, which was plastered all over it. The air conditioning was good though, and the TV seemed to have all the essential channels if you're interested in it. The Wifi was around 6Mbps although it seemed a little unstable. I didnt stay for breakfast and got myself out of the hotel as early as I could. Overall, I did not find the stay comfortable owing to the low hygiene standards. Although its only 1K for a night, you would expect better standards from any hotel, especially at this time of...

My recent stay at Prime Palace Hotel in Kochi left me with mixed feelings. While the staff was notably supportive and polite throughout my visit, the overall experience was marred by several issues.
Upon entering the room, I was disappointed to discover the presence of cockroaches, which significantly detracted from the comfort and cleanliness of the space. Despite the efforts of the staff, the room's hygiene left much to be desired.
Furthermore, the non-AC room I stayed in was not up to standard. The lack of adequate cooling made for an uncomfortable night's sleep, compounded by the unpleasant odor emanating from the washroom.
Despite these shortcomings, I must commend the hotel staff for their professionalism and willingness to assist guests. Their attentive service was a saving grace in an otherwise underwhelming stay.
In conclusion, while the Prime Palace Hotel in Kochi shows potential, improvements in cleanliness and room maintenance are essential to ensure a more satisfactory...
Read moreThis hotel was booked online through Makemytrip by us for a day’s stay enroute to Lakshadweep. The hotel was well below expectation. The Deluxe room given to us was very small in size. Do not understand which camera angles they use to click photos of rooms for online selling. Two single beds were provided instead of a double bed. The bath too was small and basic. Light in bath was insufficient. There was no window in room No dressing area and no tea/coffee maker in the room as mentioned on Makemytrip site. Wifi was good in room. Bed linen and bath towels were ok. The Lift was not working and had to climb to the restaurant on 4th floor for breakfast. Restaurant had no AC, breakfast spread was very limited, the chutney was watery and no sambhar to accompany idlis. Overall a very average hotel. Look...
