Extremely disappointed with my recent experience at Hotel Bektash. As someone who orders from here almost daily, I never expected to be treated the way I was. This review is not out of anger, but as a genuine heads-up to future customers to be cautious and check the quality before you order.
I recently ordered their Beef Rib Alfahm, something I was looking forward to—but the moment I opened it, I could tell something was off. The meat was sticky, overly mushy, and just not fresh at all. The smell and texture were so unpleasant that I was genuinely on the verge of vomiting. I immediately brought it to the attention of the staff, who acknowledged the issue and took the dish back.
Out of discomfort, I didn’t want a replacement and instead asked for a simple ice cream brownie just to feel a little better. I thought that was the end of it, until I saw the final bill.
To my shock, they billed me for the spoiled beef rib dish as well. This is what truly disappointed me—not just the bad food, but the complete lack of basic customer empathy, especially considering I’m a regular customer who has always supported them without ever making a fuss.
What saddens me the most is that I expected better from a place I trusted. One bad day can happen in any kitchen—but the way they handled it spoke volumes. After this experience, I’ve decided I’ll no longer be ordering from Bektash again.
If you’re trying this place, please check your food before eating. Quality and customer care seem to be completely...

"I recently visited Bektash at YMCA Junction and had a wonderful dining experience. The hygiene standards were top-notch, and the restaurant had a pleasant ambiance. I opted for the Bektash Special platter, which was an absolute delight. It offered a variety of delicious chicken alfams, including French fries, both normal and spicy, along with four refreshing lime juices. The quantity of food was excellent, and I particularly loved the honey glazed alfam. The service was good, despite the limited seating arrangement.
However, the cold coffee I ordered was not up to the mark. I would suggest focusing more on the quality of their cold beverages. On the other hand, I highly recommend trying their newly introduced biryanis. The biryanis had a wonderful traditional taste, and both the chicken and mutton options were outstanding. If you have a craving for delicious alfams and biryanis, this is definitely the place to be.
Overall, Bektash at YMCA Junction is a great spot for a satisfying meal with excellent variety. The hygiene practices, taste, and platter offerings exceeded my expectations. I will surely be visiting again for their flavorful biryanis. Keep up...
Read moreDear Restaurant Owner,
I visited your establishment as a customer today, and unfortunately, I had a very disappointing experience. I ordered Arabic Alpham, and while the waiter took my order, another waiter approached me and informed me that I needed to purchase a rice for Rs. 89 in order to receive my order. However, I had ordered the same just three days prior, and I did not encounter any such requirement to purchase rice at that time.
I expressed my dissatisfaction with this unexpected demand, as I firmly believed that I should not be obligated to purchase an additional item in order to receive the alpham I had initially ordered. Despite my protest, I was not served the order, and in frustration, I decided to cancel my order and leave the restaurant.
I must say that I was deeply disappointed by the behavior and lack of understanding exhibited by the staff at your restaurant. As a customer, I expect to be treated with respect and fairness, and unfortunately, this was not the case during my recent visit.
I hope that you will take this feedback into consideration and address the issue promptly to ensure that such incidents do not occur...
