Society Bakery — Restaurant in Kerala

Had a bad experience. I am working at Government medical College kottayam and i was given the task of arranging a cake for our alumni meet. As I am from Ernakulam and the function was at IMA i took it up. I ordered from society bakers as I hav pleasant memories of having fancy cake from them and i wished for others to experience the same. But to my utter disappointment they did a bad job of writing the letters in an assymetrical manner and the decoration was also not professional. They charged 150 rups for delivering to ima house and this wasn't mentioned before. They didn't even supply tissue or knife for the cake. Overall it was poorly executed and didn't match expectations. Taste was average to be Frank. I guess this place is good to buy in small batch or a single cake slice. But not good for a big cake order. Upon expressing my disappointment they replied that it was "busy , pls adjust" . Why should I? I could hav ordered from nearby bakeries easily, pls don't take up orders u can't execute to perfection. Won't be ordering from u again. PS: since my teachers and colleagues were very forgiving they didn't mention anything much about the ugly cake. I would also like to add that I had ordered from aines juice for same function. They were so professional. Even arranged every juice glass on the table. No extra charges for delivery. They are a new company and exceeded expectations. Pls improve ur services...

Society Bakery, right behind line for Shenoy’s Theatre, is a great little spot for fresh, no-fuss snacks.

The place is small, no parking for cars as such; but packed with variety—soft buns, fresh breads, crispy samosas, puffs, and even chips.

Everything tastes homemade and is affordable. It’s perfect for a quick bite or to grab something on the go.
