Read moreSome amazing dishes. Walked in around noon and ordered "Kappa" (Tapioca) and Beef curry - kerala style, with piping hot fresh tea to sip. Absolutely delightful!! They also have Tapioca biriyani. Their "Chaya" (tea) in whichever form you wish to order, strong, light, frothy, kadak, black, whatever, is simply tops. They usually have very crispy Dal vada, which is a favourite, as also their "Chukku Kaapi" which works wonders for your throat. Their "pazham pori" (Banana fritters) is equally delicious. Very popular with the young working crowd from the offices around, as also students, there's always an animated chatter and laughter in the air!!. This tiny place is on the Main MG road, about 50 Mt from Maharajas college Metro station, so forget about parking unless you're on a two wheeler. Worth a visit,...

We tried the chicken majboos which turned out to be a different version of biriyani with a bit more spicy feel and also the pazhampori beef combo. Both items were very tasty and also included a good enough portion size. The pazhampori beef combo came with 3 pazhamporis however the curry was just sufficient and on asking they also gave me an extra portion of the gravy. We also tried the passion fruit mojito and a litchi ice tea, both of which were okay. The chicken majboos costed around 125 and the pazhampori beef combo was 80. The beverages both were of 80 rupees. Seats around 20 people at a time and may also get crowded during peak hours. An affordable option for a quick bite or for...
