We had a wonderful stay here for a weekend. Manager Paul and all the staff were courteous and helpful. The room was clean with basic amenities like kettle, fridge, tv, toiletries, tea and coffee, refillable glass bottle. The deluxe room had an extra sofa bed. We went there with 2 kids and a baby. The king size bed and sofa bed gave us plenty of room to sleep. The room also had a couch, chair, tables and wardrobes. The jacuzzi pool was also maintained well and they provide bath towels at the pool side. Only negative is that they don’t have a kitchen to serve breakfast. They have a restaurant area with tables and cutlery to have food that can be ordered from outside.

My review is for the restaurant. Lovely breakfast options- limited but catering to all pallets. Not expensive either considering the decent ambience, goodcrowd and super sweet staff. 90s song added nostalgia to the atmosphere too! I tried Kerela Brkfast, pancakes and coffee. Also bought bread and Kara biscuits from the bakery and will request all of you to try these 5 items for sure. M sure every item on their menu is equally yummy!! Love this place!!!

Beautiful and historic hotel with bags of charm and character. Friendly staff. The standard room was so-so, but moved to a deluxe room which was massive and worth the extra. Breakfast is pretty mediocre and if you are very particular about needing somewhere spotless then this isn't the place for you. But overall it's a lovely place to stay.

Continuing our drivecation through Kerala, our next stop post Kannur was Fort Kochi.|We'd booked ourselves for two nights.|We ended up staying four!||The hotel is located perfectly for exploring Fort Kochi, the Chinese nets, the street restaurants and shops.||Our room, the Queen Suite, on the first floor, was as shown on the website ... in fact much better in real life! Comfortable, dust free, spacious with a modern bathroom, a very comfortable bed and not a single mosquito nor insect around.||The staff was super! Wilson, the manager and team helped ensure we didn't want for anything. His assistants Ranjan and Santosh were A One.||Once outside the hotel, you have to brace yourself for the tuk-tuk drivers who ply their sightseeing tours on you ... until, you do take one, as we did and frankly, had one of the best experiences!||Our tuk tuk driver, Shaifee sits right outside the hotel. We started at 10.30am on the day of our excursion: starting with the Spice market, Jew Town, Dutch Palace and finishing with lunch at one of the best local Keralan restaurants, Queens Kitchen. He charged us Rs. 500/- for the four hours, well worth every paise.||We actually felt 'sad' having to leave, it was so much a home away from home.||Our thanks and best wishes to the owners and their...

Old Courtyard Hotel is Cochin’s 200 years Old Portuguese building that now acts as a very attractive heritage hotel. Located amidst the exotic lanes of historic Fort Cochin, the hotel invites travelers from all major parts of the world. The antique shops beside the hotel offer appealing surroundings to the guests who stay in this hotel. The stunning hotel is reminiscent of the majestic beauty of Royal India and guests are exhilarated by its beauty. Every aspect of the hotel including the high ceilings, the stone walls, the open courtyard, is intriguing and gives glimpses of life of people who lived here at one time.

We stayed for two nights in a deluxe room on the first floor; the hotel is a lovely old colonial building with beautiful period furniture. The bed was very large and comfortable and we slept under mosquito nets - no bad thing as the window frames are original with gaps! The air con was good and there was a kettle with tea & coffee.||It was good to come back after sightseeing and jump in the small plunge pool; the garden was small but had tables and chairs and was nice to sit in. ||The hotel is halfway down Princess Street which has plenty of cafes for breakfast; Trouvelle opposite which did a brilliant breakfast roll in a fabulous air-conditioned modern bakery. The cakes were to die for!||Next to the hotel was a 4* hotel where we had a beer in their bar and also went to the Old Harbour hotel round the...
