I had the pleasure of staying at Hotel Enigma Inn, and it was truly one of the most delightful hospitality experiences I’ve ever had. From the moment I arrived, I was welcomed with warmth and professionalism, making me feel instantly at home.

The hotel itself is beautifully designed, blending modern comfort with a touch of elegance. The rooms are spacious, spotless, and thoughtfully equipped with everything a traveler might need—comfortable bedding, efficient air-conditioning, high-speed Wi-Fi, and a calming ambiance that guarantees relaxation after a long day. The attention to detail in housekeeping deserves special mention; every corner of the room reflected care and cleanliness.

What impressed me most was the staff’s commitment to guest satisfaction. Well located hotel with amenities. However: the room had not been set up when we arrived. The waist bin was unchanged, the bathmat was noticeably dirty and we were not given towels, which we assumed the hotel did not provide. It turned out they forgot.

As mentioned the location was excellent, unfortunately though the hotel is directly across from a fish market. Although the hotel staff couldn’t of course change that, they made no effort to mask the intense smell (having no air fresheners/incense or spray) which lingered in the reception, halls, and our room. The attempt to freshen the room using wet moth balls also caused a toxic smell which could not be aired out as the room had no window or air circulation.

The hotel has many staff (all men) who were very overbearing. The hotel kindly offered to do our laundry but then two men came to our room and insisted on counting our laundry with us, including our underwear, and personal items. They stopped only after we repeatedly asked them not to, but when we closed the door they began again.
