It is located in Maruti lane the not-so-attractive alley in Bora Bazaar Street. Opposite the restaurant is the Fort Fire Brigade office. If you know the lanes in the adjoining area, you can reach CSMT station within ten minute's walk. The restaurant mainly serves tasty non-veg Mangalorean food. In the morning time till 11 am you can taste Neer dosa and South Indian breakfast on a pocket-friendly budget. The fish thali used to have prawn masala. Due to the Covid pandemic and loss in the business, they have stopped serving prawn masala in the thali. The Mangalorean-flavoured fish curry and sabhji are tasty. There are many chicken dishes. The mutton thali is okayish. Chicken biryani tastes good but is on the spicier side. The restaurant has ten tables, with a seating capacity of forty customers. During the lunch break in the nearby offices, the restaurant gets crowded and one has to wait outside the restaurant for 15 to 30 minutes. Most of the customers are male but it is safe for females and families. The good ambiance, quick service, no so costly food, and cleanliness make this restaurant a favorite place for food...

Serves inexpensive and sought for delicacies to common man workers, labourers as well as dishes that are at regular prices available at A & B grade restaurant to the executives & office staff. A mighty popular restaurant in a silent corner in the lanes & by lanes of business district of fort area which is ever hustling & bustling. Kyoto restaurant is busy from wee hours in morning to well past 23:30 hours. By the way let this serve as a warning to people who don't prefer Spicy food. What was suggested to me as not SPICY and sweetish in taste was Spicer than biting the most pungent & spiciest species of CHILLIES in the world! The dish suggested to me was Butter Chicken. The portion was undoubtedly big & generous but unfortunately I could not eat it. Now I'm ever loyal customer only for their nice heavy...

I just can't resist myself to stop and see what they are cooking ...smell coming from this Bombay Restaurant while passing through make me stop and take there menu card . A soft spoken uncle told me that they have variety of fresh fish and also have " CRABS"and they have variety of mode of payments and "credit card swap machine" too... before sleep I go through menu and found very affordable price. Next day I visit this resuarant to have meal of the day and order fried CRABS...I first time eat this type of crabs ...it takes almost 2 hours to finish 3 crabs with 3 cups of hot milk tea..just match my flavours..and found another good person handling the counter seat ...
