Pondok Bambu Homestay — Hotel in Pulau Bali

We stayed in Pondok Bambu two times during our trip cause we do love this homestay so much. Pondok Bambu is situated in a long well kept beautiful garden, and in the back of the garden you find a lovely clean swimmingpool. The rooms are big, clean and complete with hot and cold running water, airconditioning and anything else that you need for a comfortable stay. The family that ownes the homestay do everything to make you feel at home, and nothing is to much for them.||The breakfast they serve in the morning is something to look forward to everyday again. The location is top notch. The swimming pool is very beautiful and the garden very serene and lush! It felt safe to sleep in the bungalow (there is an inside lock + a wood bar that you can put across the doors so for sure no one can enter). Shower was nice and hot, true the bedding has some stains but is still clean. The roster is also waking you up early, but that’s best so that you can enjoy the activities before it gets too hot! And the place is at walkable distance from everywhere so it’s super practical. I stayed 3 nights and I wish I had stayed more. I booked the 3 last nights in a “3-star resort” which was more expensive and not as good as this homestay. I...

Such an amazing place. Beautiful garden, great rooms and facilities with hot shower AC and fan for such a low price. I stayed here with my girlfriend for 3 nights. Made and his big family are so nice and they also participate in the Kecak fire dance in the temple across the road (you can ask Made for a ticket - the money goes to donation to the community's temple). They were kind to make us a different vegan breakfast every morning. We also rented a scooter and it felt good to rent from such honest people.
