Beautiful staff that were so helpful & kind. The bed, balcony & outside by the pool was nice but that’s about it here. When I arrived to the room I was surprised at how old the bathroom and buildings are compared to photos. A few days in I started to notice how much mould there is in all the walls, ceilings and roof of the blocks of rooms. I got put into a new room and the toilet seat has black mould all over it!! The bathroom didn’t even have a fan or ventilation? No soap, shower head is very weak and small. One of my items even started growing mould on it 😭 The health impact this has on us is very dangerous and should be taken more seriously. This place has great potential to be so much nicer. I don’t feel like it’s a 3 stars place though because of the mould growth here. If the place was renovated a little it would be much better. Your staff provide great customer service and your hotel rooms need to reflect quality...
Read moreMy boyfriend and I stayed at Putri Ayu Cottages for a week and loved it so much that we decided to extend our stay for another week. Honestly, I'm surprised this place only has a 3.9 rating!
We booked through Airbnb, and Herry was super helpful. I asked him beforehand if our room would have a desk since I needed to work, and he assured me he could provide one. When we arrived, the staff brought a desk and chair :)
The room had everything we needed and was cleaned daily. We also had a lovely terrace where we enjoyed our morning coffee. A really nice touch was the complimentary welcome drinks we received when we got there.
The pool was great, very clean, and had a decent depth. The location is perfect, with plenty of great dining options within walking distance. The hotel's restaurant was super convenient, and the staff were incredibly friendly and always ready to help with anything we needed. We...
Read moreWe love the family, the quiet location overlooking rice fields, the proximity to restaurants and music and yoga classes in the center of town, and the price. My husband and I have come to Ubud seven times in the last 14 years; once, for four months. For almost all those times, we’ve stayed at Vera Accommodations (now renovated and renamed Agus Ayu Cottages) because we love being here. It still has the lovely family, the delicious breakfasts, the short walks to almost anywhere you want to go. Now, however, Agus Ayu Cottages has a pool that uses salts to keep it sparkling clean, lush landscaping, and two deluxe rooms that have air-conditioning and beautiful furniture. The prices are still very reasonable. Agus Ayu Cottages is down a concrete walkway off Jalan Bisma. Look for the small sign on the left beyond Nick’s Pension and Puri Bisma. You are likely to love...
