Lucky Family Coffee & Food — Restaurant in Bali

An absolutely fantastic cafe. The upstairs is a very cool little space that has a bunch of lovely and interesting little spaces to enjoy. Small balconies on either side, a large balcony dining space and a bunch of seating downstairs.

The coffee is excellent. Smooth blends, not overly bitter or acidic, but with a distinctly 'coffee' flavour. It's truly a good cup and after trying 3 different styles I'm confident the staff know their way about it. As an Adelaide cafe-cruiser I've tried a LOT of great coffee in my time and if it were in my home town it would still stand out. The only local competition is Littletalks down the road, another wonderful establishment.

The food is very cheap by western standards and great. I've et 3 meals here and all of them are grand. Staying across the street, this place is a blessing, truly. It really does feel like a slice of comfort in a busy little...

Lucky family is my favorite cafe in Ubud. The service, food, juices and coffee are outstanding in taste, quality and price.

Putu is the head Barista and has an immense wealth of knowledge all things coffee. He has ensured the business sources their beans, sugar and other ingredients from local Balinese farmers. They offer traditional espresso based drinks, Balinese coffee, V60 and cold brew among many others.

Koman is the head chef - her food is exceptional. The menu here provides a combination of local and western options. I tried 2 traditional dishes over 2 days - balinese style roast duck and the roast pork bowl which were both fresh and delicious.

The wifi is fast, the ambiance is warm and many of the seats are next to power outlets so remote working / studying is also possible from here.

Stayed one night in Ubud on the way to other places & happened upon this little gem looking for a decent burger & a coffee. Once we saw the menu we decided to go with the traditional balinese dishes which were superb. And came with a free local bubur dessert served in coconut shells. LuckyFamily coffee was also so delicious we chose the Artisan because I asked the waiter for a recommendation. We couldn’t have been happier. Everything was served & presented perfectly. Even the menu is displayed with excellent pictures which usually are never the same when the dish arrives. But the food looked every bit as good on the table as it did in the menu. Thoroughly enjoyed & recommend ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Thank you we are very happy to support this locally...
