Short version:STAY HERE, trust us it’s the best decision you can make beside the decision to go to Cinque Terre, which is also a great decision! ||||Long version: We have never experienced such superior hospitality like we did from AWroom! From the moment we arrived until the moment we left Alesandra and William were the best hosts we’ve ever had! Not only do they happen to be kind, loving people but they also had thought out every detail to make your stay at Riomaggiore wonderful. We could not speak more highly of this couple or the stay they offer- they exceeded all expectations we had and did it with a genuine smile. Besides the amazing hospitality, the place itself was fantastic. It has the Riomaggoire charm with updates that make you most comfortable (our favorite was the spacious shower that we have not seen in other Italian locations). To repeat what I stated in the short version, staying at AWroom is the best decision you can make! If we could give them more than five stars we definitely would, this stay was perfect! Thank you AWroom for making our stay so amazing!! ||||Pro tip: when you arrive by train DO NOT follow the crowd through the tunnel, instead walk in front of the “Bar Stazion” and begin walking up the hill- this path is easiest and will lead you right to...

William and Alessandra are the most congenial hosts. William helped my husband with luggage up the hill, Alessandra helped with our train scheduling, invited us into their home to wait for our room, and allowed us to check in early. Our room had a kitchen area stocked with water, snacks, meat and cheese. Our bed was large and comfortable. The bedroom window opened up for a view of the hillside. The bathroom was a moderate size, with one of the largest showers we had seen in Europe. Although the furnishings are older, the apartment felt homey and was very clean. The main street with shops and restaurants was about a block away. It was a good base for exploring Cinque Terre. When we left the next morning, the couple pointed us to a outdoor restaurant 20 feet away for coffee and croissants. William then insisted on carrying our luggage to the trainstop. We enjoyed our stay and felt our Awroom hosts had been the most welcoming on...
Read moreMy favourite hotel I stayed at in Cinque Terre! Lovely spacious room with kitchen area and provided food for breakfast. Very modern. The hotel owner was lovely and had a very sweet cat as well! Location was great, very close to the station but on a quiet enough street. And the owner gave great instructions on arrival. Also provided with a tourist card so I could use the lifts for free. Would...
