Atmosphere: Homey and friendly bakery 🍞 🥖 Order: Foccacia with pesto and potatoes Foccacia with onions ➖➖➖➖➖➖➖➖➖➖➖➖➖➖➖ Verdict: It is a tiny bakery tucked away in Riomaggiore which is one of the villages in the Cinque Terre region. The locals here tout their pesto as the best in Italy and are big on simple flavours and local produce, which is apparent in the foccacia pesto with potatoe. It had a distinctive taste, very fluffy dough and covered in olive oil.
The foccacia with onions had a slightly sweet flavour. There was a contrast of texture between the crunchiness of the onion against the chewy soft centered dough which was nice.
Really worth trying as a quick snack to keep you going.

She washed and gloved hands, and used a specific gluten free mat and gluten free sandwich press for my focaccia.
