The food was not good. Honestly wouldn’t have taken the time to write this review if management was more helpful and friendly when I found a 4 inch hair in my pizza. Hopefully the owner/management reads this and will do better in the future.
Ordered Bruschetta, a pizza, glass of wine, and a bottle of water.
The water never came. The bruschetta was fine but was honestly just sliced tomatoes on top of bread. No salt, barely any olive oil or seasoning to make a true bruschetta. I’ve had better at Olive Garden in the US so trust me the bar wasn’t high to impress me.
Onto the pizza. The dough was undercooked and chewy. Like gum. Already disappointed because this was my first experience eating pizza in Italy. I was down to my last two slices when I uncovered a 4 inch curly brown hair buried under the cheese. I put the meal down. The sever apologized and was told it would be taken off the check. When I went to check out, the girl refused to remove the pizza from the check. She said it was ‘impossible’ and only discounted it because I had eaten all but two slices. EVEN THOUGH I had been eating around this hair the entire meal. Fighting me over 4€ was so ridiculous and stingy I just caved so I could get the hell out of there.
There are so many other options on that little strip. I would HIGHLY AVOID THIS PLACE. So gross and petty customer service! Thanks for killing my first Italian meal...

We just had breakfast there and we have never received such horrible service before. This is a misrepresentation of Italian hospitality and service.
We ordered two omelettes, which according to their menu comes with butter. When we received our food, there was no butter in sight. No big deal, we asked our waitress for it, but 5 minutes passed, so my husband approached the counter and asked “do you have butter?” and the woman at the counter threw two packages at him and said “sorry, I only have two hands” while shaking her hands in the air. I was sitting in the sidewalk and could hear and see everything. I was baffled as this reaction was completely uncalled for. We weren’t upset nor asked rudely, we simply decided it was better to go get the butter ourselves as they seemed overwhelmed (even though there were 4 staff members total and the restaurant wasn’t full) and after 5 minutes our food was getting cold.
Your website states “Un servizio fatto di professionalità, simpatia e cordialità” – well, your employees lack all of them.
Also, if you want to use the toilet, be prepared to squat as it’s literally a hole on the floor. Gross.
There are many other options for breakfast around, so give your business to those who at least provide...
Read moreWe had a really great experience at this restaurant in Riomaggiore. We were a large group of 11 people, and although there was an unexpected situation where one of us tried a pesto dish (which contained walnuts) and had an allergic reaction, we want to make it clear that it was not the restaurant’s fault. The dish wasn't even hers, and she should have asked about the ingredients before trying something that wasn't her own, so it was a mix of bad luck and our own responsibility for not being prepared.
We especially want to highlight the waiter who took care of us: he was extremely kind, attentive at all times, and handled the situation with a lot of professionalism and respect. His friendly attitude, sense of humor, and the great atmosphere he created made us feel very well cared for. We also want to mention that the rest of the staff was equally kind and attentive.
Even though he had no responsibility for what happened, the waiter kept apologizing and making sure we were okay, which we deeply appreciated.
The food was absolutely delicious, authentic, and full of flavor. Thanks to the excellent service, we left with a very positive experience. We would definitely come back...
