Riomaggiore Beach is an absolutely breathtaking destination. The beach is located on the Ligurian coast of Italy, and it is one of the most beautiful and picturesque beaches I have ever seen.

The beach is surrounded by towering cliffs, lush greenery, and crystal-clear waters that are the perfect shade of blue. The sand is soft and white, and the beach itself is clean and well-maintained. The water is also very clear, making it perfect for swimming and snorkeling.

One of the best things about Riomaggiore Beach is that it is relatively secluded, so it's never too crowded. This makes it the perfect place to relax and enjoy the natural beauty of the area. The beach is also surrounded by a number of small restaurants and cafes, which offer delicious seafood and local specialties.

The beach is also a great place to explore the surrounding area, there are many hiking trails that offer stunning views of the coast and the sea. The beach is also close to the charming town of Riomaggiore, which is well worth a visit.

Overall, Riomaggiore Beach is an absolutely stunning destination that should not be missed. The beach is beautiful, clean and well-maintained, and the surrounding area is full of natural beauty and interesting things to see and do. It's perfect for those who are looking for a relaxing and peaceful getaway, and for those who are looking to explore the natural beauty of the...

Riomaggiore 😍 One of the Jewels of Italy's Cinque Terre 🇮🇹 The Amazing Beautiful Destination in Italy The Location with Numerous Restaurant, Bars and shops Photo by: @markdimark Riomaggiore (Ligurian: Rimazzô, locally Rimazùu) is a village and commune in the province of La Spezia, situated in a small valley in the Liguria region of Italy. It is the first of the Cinque Terre villages one encounters when travelling north from La Spezia. The village, dating from the early thirteenth century, is known for its historic character and wine produced by the town's vineyards. Riomaggiore is in the Riviera di Levante region. It has a shoreline on the Mediterranean's Gulf of Genoa, with a small beach and a wharf framed by tower houses. Riomaggiore's main street is Via Colombo, where numerous restaurants, bars, and shops can be found. The Via dell'Amore is a path connecting Riomaggiore to its frazione Manarola, also part of the Cinque Terre. Riomaggiore is the most southern village of the five Cinque Terre, all connected by trail. The water and mountainside have been declared national parks. Riomaggiore inspired paintings by Telemaco Signorini (1835–1901), one of the artists of...

My visit to the stone beach was an absolute delight, thanks to its unique attributes that made it a standout destination. Its secluded location ensured that it remained blissfully uncrowded, allowing me to revel in the tranquility and find my own private spot.

One thing that immediately caught my attention was the impeccable cleanliness of the beach. The absence of litter and debris was a testament to the efforts put into maintaining its pristine condition.

It was easily reachable from train station, making it a convenient getaway for anyone seeking a quick escape from the daily grind.

While the rocks added to the beach's allure, it was essential to exercise caution due to their occasional...

Small stoney beach that gets very busy. Access from the marina, past the ferry landing area (you can't sit on the flat concrete landing area , but anywhere else is ok). There are rocks to sit on if you are ok to climb over a few to find a good spot. Bring good sandals or water shoes. The sea is clear. Sometimes, there is a little rough surf. There are swimming pool steps into / out of the water. Beware of rocks just beneath the surface. if you like sandy beaches, this is not for you; head over to Monterosso, which has more of a bay, sandy beach. I've posted photos of the Spaggia Fegina (Fegina Beach) so you can see the difference.

Riomaggiore Beach is rugged, scenic, and undeniably photogenic. The rocky shoreline and turquoise water create a dramatic backdrop, especially at sunset. It’s not your typical sandy beach, but that’s part of its charm—perfect for sunbathing on the rocks or dipping your feet in after a hike through the Cinque Terre trails. That said, water shoes are a smart idea, and it’s best to come prepared with your own towels and snacks. There’s limited shade and no lifeguard, so it’s more of a natural escape than a full-service beach. Still, the views and peaceful vibe make it a must-visit if you’re in the area.
