Just returned home from a fabulous week staying at the residence with my parents. We had the apartment (room 12) and my parents had room 4 which was a good sized double room with spacious bathroom. Be mindful this has a sloping ceiling above the toilet. Please mind your head ! The apartment had everything we wanted with a lovely view of the vineyards to wake up to. We chose to eat out every night so didn’t use the kitchen area for cooking. The fridge with complimentary soft drinks was welcomed and appreciated. Great breakfast with plenty of choice. The staff are very friendly and attentive, nothing was too much trouble. We thoroughly enjoyed the panoramic terrace. A fantastic space for sunbathing when you want to be away from the busy town as it’s peaceful with the most amazing views. A covered area also for some much needed shade and watching the sun set over Riomaggiore! There are a lot of steps up to reach the property, please be mindful of this. My parents managed them many times throughout the day despite my Dad awaiting new knees. They returned from this holiday much fitter and no weight gain 😆 I highly recommend and will most definitely return here in the future. Thank you so much all

Amazing, amazing place. If I could give it a higher rating, I would. The owners were warm, welcoming, and very accommodating. Our room was spacious and had a nice charm. The breakfast was inviting, fresh and delicious. The view from the panoramic terrace is absolutely stunning. We could definitely feel the passion, love and care that the family pours into their business. The owners are also VERY organized, and we were very impressed. Before we even arrived, we received an email regarding how to get to the hotel and recommendations for getting our luggage there (since the land at Riomaggiore is quite steep and has many steps). We found additional information about the area in our room, which was extremely helpful and much appreciated. Overall, our stay at Cinqueterre Residence was very lovely. We had a perfect stay, and we hope to return someday :)

This is an amazing hidden gem. I wish I could come here every year for some relaxation and a reset. The views from the hotel are fabulous, staff is very helpful and kind, breakfast was good, and the rooms were spacious and quiet. I am so glad we decided to stay in Riomaggiore at the Cinque Terre Residence. However do note it would be difficult with strollers or people that cannot walk A LOT of steps. There is an option to come in the top gate by car but there is still 30? Steps you would have to walk. (The faster entrance to town is probably 75 steps and very steep but beautiful!)walking steps is necessary to live/stay in this town. You get a taste of what it would be like to be a local.

Davide and his staff are so friendly, so accommodating, and extremely helpful. He gave me advice on how to find the best trails that weren't saturated with tourists. They provided me with recommendations on things to do as well as their favorite restaurants, and were happy to help with making reservations.

The location is absolutely stunning, they have an upper terrace, with a couple couches were you can enjoy the view. There is a wonderful hot tub that was great after a long day of hiking.

It's on the top of the main street, and it is a bit of a hike so I wouldn't carry heavy luggage. With that said, he also provides detailed instructions on how to get there if you do decide to walk. He also provides options on a variety of luggage pickup/car services to make your travel up their as easy as possible.

The free breakfast was delicious, tons of options: fruit bowls, cheese/charcuterie, fresh bread, pastries, egg, pesto, the best tomatoes you'll ever have, honeycomb, teas/fresh espresso drinks made for you, cereals and milk, etc.

It's a quiet escape and I would definitely stay again. The rooms were beautifully kept, stocked with water, diet coke/tonic water/sparkling orange water. Bottle of prosecco upon check in. Loved the private terrace. Air conditioning worked perfectly.

Grazie mille...

My husband and I spent 4 wonderful nights at CinqueTerre Residence! From the start, they were very accommodating and helpful. On the day of arrival, they messaged us on WhatsApp so that we could have a line of communication with them for the duration of our trip. Any time we needed anything, we would message them and they would promptly respond. They organized a taxi to pick us up from the station. It was super simple and was free as part of our stay. The room was well-equipped with complementary beverages and even complementary prosecco which was a nice touch! We stayed in one of the larger rooms and had two terraces which we absolutely loved and spent most of our time on. My husband really enjoyed one of their two (!) hot tubs. Breakfast was very nice and it was great to not have to worry about finding breakfast in the town. The staff were incredibly helpful and upon arrival gave us a tour and helped us with our luggage. They were more than helpful with any questions/concerns we had. Upon our departure, they were kind enough to organize a taxi to the train station for us. We did have to pay for that ride; however, I felt that was fair and it was just a small fee. Also, the views are beautiful!!! All in all, it was a wonderful stay and we would recommend to anyone! Thank you...

Our stay at the hotel was truly wonderful. The staff were amazing, especially Mr Z. , who went above and beyond to make our visit comfortable. He contacted me not only by email but also by phone as soon as I sent a message about our arrival. He even arranged a ride to take us up to the hotel since we had quite a bit of luggage. We felt very welcome and well taken care of.

The hotel is beautifully and tastefully decorated — especially the outdoors. The exterior areas are charming, with flowers, plants, and delicate little benches that adds to the cozy atmosphere.

I especially enjoyed sitting on the terrace every morning. The location is peaceful, away from the city noise, yet still close to the center. If you prefer not to walk uphill, you can take the elevator for free — it’s included with your hotel stay.

The facility also provides a very helpful tourist information guide. I recommend reading it right at the beginning of your stay so you can make reservations for activities in advance. You also receive discounts at several nearby restaurants and shops when you stay at the hotel. We had extra snacks and drinks daily. The rooms furniture is outdated. Overall, it was an excellent experience — relaxing, well-organized, and full of thoughtful details that made us feel...
