Da Dulìn — Restaurant in Riomaggiore

I almost never write reviews but after this experience I felt obligated. Overall the food was actually quite good, the scallopini was nice although my wife’s pasta (pomodoro I bufalo) was quite average. However this is not about the food but rather the service, as they unfortunately had a large children’s birthday party they were hosting. This is totally fine, but brother PLEASE 🙏 if you know that this will overwhelm your restaurant to the point it takes 2 HOURS to get caprese and not allowing us to get our final dishes until 9:30 (21:30) when we got to the restaurant at 7:15 (19:15), just tell us that and we would’ve spent our last night at another restaurant not so slammed. Combined with a €80 bill for 2 people it left a horrible taste in our mouths. So again for anyone who reads this, the food here is good so worth going BUT ONLY if you don’t see a large amount of children in the restaurant as the staff will neither pay attention or attempt to improve your experience as you wait an ungodly...

Food was decent and service subpar. Four of us dined here with 9:30pm reservation and started strong with friendly waiter and good wine to start. Everyone ordered appetizers and mains with couple items to share for the table. 10:30pm and nothing has shown up at the table besides bread, we asked where food was at and response was “food takes time.” 10:45 we receive a mix of some appetizers and mains (1 small dish each) and asked where the rest of the meal was, response was a mix up in the kitchen and by 11:30 we just gave up and asked for the check. No follow up service was provided to check in on us and essentially charged with the 4 or 5 dishes that came out with no care that we ordered a total of 10+. Left hungry with a 150 euro tab (9 euro discount for the entire mishap). Food that came out was pretty good so disappointed that we didn’t get to try more and that nothing more was done after sitting 2 hrs waiting for a meal that never came and basically told kitchen was closed so SOL, pay for...

We were looking for a place outside, but were placed inside because outside was full. Only half a minute later, another pair was placed outside, without notifying us a spot just came avalaible.

At last, we ordered two pizza's inside, which were quite good (hence the 2/5 instead of 1). Having finished the pizzas, we have been sitting with empty plates for way too long, watching the waiters run inefficiently all over the place. After trying to get the attention of one of the waiters multiple times to order a desert (we were feeling like sharing a tiramisu and found the menu online), we finally gave up and paid our bill at the manager who was standing at the front door, watching his staff run all over the place.
