Very cool atmosphere and delicious food!! It was our first night here and we were just wandering around when we found this place. We got the house red wine, the three of a kind bruscetta, cheese and cold cuts plate, and the anchovies plate, and everything was so tasty! We were especially surprised about the anchovies, as neither of us likes them, but we liked these so much we got more. Most notably, the owner, Fiorenzo (and bar tender, and chef), was incredibly fun to talk to! He recommended really good things and kept us company. The breakfast menu also looks great, so we'll definitely be back.

We visited here for some light lunch and a drink, staff very friendly and attentive, food and drink came quick and was so yummy (we had the focaccia ligure and Manorola). We loved this place so much we came back later for a caprese salad (we spotted someone else eating it earlier and looked lovely) we then stayed for a few delicious cocktails which didn't fail to amaze us. Thank you, will come back if we visit Riomaggiore again :)

(Not busy, it’s November) The sardines we nicely presented and plentiful, the cheese and meat platter for two was quite large with a nice assortment and the bruschetta with pesto on tomatoes was absolutely wonderful.

I was planning a proposal in Riomaggiore and saw excellent reviews on TA (they are #1 now!). Decided to give it a shot and requested for their help to help me procure a bouquet of sunflowers (rather than via an online florist order + delivery I came across which would cost around 100 euros). They obliged my request and my fiancé (yay!) got a big bouquet of sunflowers!!! We ordered local white wine and fresh anchovies and bruschetta, which were all tasty! My highlight of the day in rio maggiore , the guys who run the place are very friendly, accomplished barmen and cook some good food, the music is great and it's a good place to people watch and watch the staff at the opposite restaurant jealous of the laid back way the guys get to run a bar/socialise/play fat boy slim at full volume and prank each other and neighbouring businesses with air horns!
