Residenza La Loggia — Hotel in Venice

We stayed there because the reviews were great. The location is extremely central and the room is nice. However we had a horrible experience. There were bed bugs in our room (yellow room). At first we did not know that it was bed bugs and mentioned there were black bugs to reception who said they would check. The night after, the reception said it should be ok but the bugs were still there (we took pictures and showed a video to the reception). After we left, we made a few phone calls and did web searches and understood that it was bed bugs (we have zero doubt). We emailed the hotel two days ago to inform them and suggest they take measures and have not heard back from the hotel. We stayed in the yellow room in the photos. I would recommend not to go there until there is confirmation that the bugs are out.||We have been spending a my of time since we left washing and drying all our stuff from Venice and so far so good. Had their not been bugs we would have given the hotel a 5...

This B&B is just a very few minutes away from Piazza San Marco and with some restaurants and gelato shops around. From the hotel to rialto bridge (where also the water bus from the Airport stops) it's probably 5-10min walking. The rooms are small, but big enough. We had a double bed, a small wardrobe including safe, a table with two chairs, TV, A/C, free Wifi, breakfast and a bathroom with shower. There is no sound from the street. Room and bathroom was both in good condition and clean. The reception is very friendly and very caring, I would even say the service was outstanding. We actually got our luggage lost by the airline and it got finally delivered late night after business/reception hours. Nevertheless, the hotel got called by the delivery service and received the luggage for us. I definitely recommend this place to any other couple.
