GuestHouse UMEKOJI — Hotel in Kyoto

Very nice vintage like rooms, you feel like you are living in a previous, simpler time, although all the facilities are modern and convenient. The owner was really helpful and fun to be around throughout the whole stay, the guesthouse was really nicely decorated and the cat super kawaii. He even let us play at the pachinko machine and taught us how to win! The guesthouse is a 10 mintue walk to anything you would ever need, from food, bathhouse, bar and especially the most important, the main station of Kyoto! All in all, it was a great experience, I can't wait...

It was a very good experience. Hisashi-san was very kind and helpful. He even helped us get our lost baggage from airport. The guest house smelled amazing and the rooms were very nice. El chico que lleva el alojamiento es muy amable. A pesar de que se retrasó el tren y llegamos algo más tarde de lo esperado, fue súper atento y amable con nosotros. Conocimos a Maro, su gatete, es adorable e incluso nos dejó darle una chuche.

Al decirle que era nuestra primera vez en Kyoto nos entregó un mapa de la zona y un folleto con sitios recomendados por él. ¡Muy útil!

Nosotros nos alojamos en la habitación estilo japonés y es muy cómoda. Pensamos que dormir en el suelo iba a ser complicado, pero nada de eso, fue muy cómodo.

Las zonas comunes también están muy bien, tiene muchísimas figuras de anime.

El ambiente del alojamiento es entrañable. Creo que no podríamos haber elegido mejor alojamiento para nuestra primera...
