This hotel does care at all about its customers. ||Firstly, we booked a room for 2 adults and 3 children, this was clearly articulated. After travelling for hours on the heat, we were given terrible instructions to a central check in point ( ages away from ‘the station’ - in fact it was nowhere near the station). We only ever even found the check in point by sheer coincidence.||Then, when we arrived, my ‘bed’ was an unmade sofa bed. How delightful that I then had to start making up beds after a long journey.||I raised this with the hotel and they were completely unresponsive/unhelpful and couldn’t have helped less.||I think this hotel uses fake reviews, because it was depressing and cramped and really did not look like the images provided.||||Hard Avoid - especially if you are staying with children. ||||Hated this hotel and hate the...

We opted for the family bunk room for our group of 3 adults and 1 teen. It’s nice and roomy with a seating area large enough for all of us.
There is a small kitchen area with a microwave, kettle, fridge, and hotplate. All utensils and dishes are provided.
The room also comes with a small washer and a drying rack for light clothing.
The bunks provide a cozy space to separate after a long day of sight seeing. Everyone has their own little “fort”

The location is an east walk to shopping and restaurants as well as several convenience stores.
We appreciated the free shuttle to the room from the check-in desk near Kyoto station and the ability to store our luggage before and...

We had the four bunk bed room and it was a good size for our family of four, with 2 late teens. The apartment unit was close to everything. The laundry machine was great and the air conditioning was strong. The only real issue is that you checked in somewhere else and I was lost over 1.5 hours in and around Kyoto station looking for the office and I'm sure that's my fault. The staff at the office was helpful and while I don't think they're required at the actual apartment hotel, it would be nice to have a staff there in case something was to come up. I would recommend this unit and I would even come back whenever I visit...
