123 Guesthouse — Hotel in Osaka

A budget-friendly guesthouse located just a 10-minute walk from the famous Glico sign in Dotonbori, 4mins walk to BIC namba and only 1 minute from Kintetsu-Nippombashi Station. The hotel is located on the 3rd floor of a building and offers a simple, no-frills experience perfect for travelers on a budget.

The room I stayed in for 1 night was the solo room, which is quite basic but functional. It came with a bed, aircon/heater, a small table, towel and a chair—nothing too fancy but enough for a solo traveler. The guesthouse has shared facilities, including a small kitchen and lobby area, as well as shared bathrooms with basic toiletries. They also offer free drinking water! :)

The receptionist is available until 11pm, but note that the elevator is out of service after midnight. This means if you're out late, you'll have to take the stairs to get back to your room.

We had a pleasant stay in this lodging. It is clean, simple yet equipped with basic amenities like shampoo, conditioner, body wash, towels and slippers and vending machines downstairs. Good enough for 4 nights stay. There are few rooms per floor, but never had an issue using the toilet and shower room. The accommodation is in a good location. It is so close to Namba Walk, train stations, Dohtonbori, Shinsaibashi and the infamous Don Quijote (2 branches). It is also near to elevator of Kintentsu Nippombashi train station so really convenient if you are bringing in luggage. We really had a good stay. Stayed for 2 nights in the 3-bed room and it was a great experience. Bathrooms, despite being shared, were always super clean and stocked up. The shower is very clean and has all the necessities, even make up remover. The shared bathroom even had a hair straightener/curler! Great place to stay on a budget for sure. Location wise, Dotonbori was close by and right next to the train station. Staff speak English too and were friendly which is always a plus for...
