We dined here on the recommendation of a friend of a friend after we were unable to get a table at Wagyu Idaten. Fortunately, this spot more than satisfied our Wagyu cravings!
We sampled a variety of meat, including black Wagyu and pork belly, all of which were perfectly seasoned. We opted for the salt-based sauce (highly recommended!), which enhanced the natural flavors of the meats. As expected, the Wagyu had that signature melt-in-your-mouth tenderness that we were craving.
The sides were equally impressive—the refreshing cucumber side dish and the collagen broth/soup paired wonderfully with the rich meats, balancing out the meal beautifully.

Be aware there is a seat charge or お通し which for me was a cabbage salad appetizer for ¥300. Not too bad, but please keep it in mind that you can't waive it.
Here, you order your desired cuts and then grill them on your little personal grill located at your bar section or table. The cuts are reasonable priced though I have had better experiences for the same price.

Read moreThe food was great, but it seems that this establishment tend to segregate gaijin and local people. We were forced to seat in an awkwardly looking circular table made for people drinking and not dining! We ordered a lot of food but the space is too cramped.
We also noticed that some gaijins/foreigners were turned down on the square table at the back even though some are vacant. If you’re a foreigner, i suggest to look elsewhere.
Furthermore, we were charged for a cabbage and the time of entry was before our first order. This is very unfair...
