Discovering a Gem: Kimono Rental Experience in Osaka
Recently, I had the delightful opportunity to visit a charming kimono rental shop in Osaka. This visit was primarily for my daughter, who was keen on experiencing traditional Japanese culture. The shop's extensive collection immediately caught our attention, boasting an array of vibrant colors and intricate patterns that perfectly captured the essence of traditional Japanese aesthetics.
The service at this shop was exceptional. Each staff member was not only knowledgeable about the kimonos but also exhibited a warm and welcoming demeanor. This made the whole experience very pleasant. The attention to detail in their service was evident, as they carefully helped us select a kimono that not only suited my daughter's preferences but also fit her perfectly.
One of the most impressive aspects was the efficiency of the dressing process. The staff's expertise was clear as they skillfully dressed my daughter in the kimono. This process, which I had anticipated being time-consuming, was surprisingly quick, allowing us more time to enjoy our day in Osaka.
The overall experience was not just about wearing a kimono; it was a dive into Japanese culture, facilitated by the shop's ambiance and the staff's proficiency. For anyone visiting Osaka and looking to immerse themselves in Japanese tradition, I highly recommend this kimono rental shop. It's an experience that's both culturally enriching and...
Read moreThis is an excellent kimono experience shop! The shop is located on the 7th floor of a building, and you can go straight up by elevator. I had a wonderful time with both the kimono dressing experience and the hairstyling service! Although I didn’t book a makeup service, the shop provides a variety of cosmetics for use, so even those without makeup don’t need to worry. Communication is very convenient as the staff can speak Chinese.
The photographer was not only skilled in capturing beautiful shots but also very familiar with the local area. He recommended taking photos near Hozenji Temple, which turned out to be a perfect setting. The shoot was smooth and enjoyable, and the photographer made me feel very comfortable throughout. Afterward, it was just a short walk back to the shop.
I took my photos on November 27 and received the edited pictures by December 1. The results were stunning. Overall, it was a fantastic experience, and I highly recommend it to anyone interested in...
Read moreI booked the couple kimono + 30min photoshoot plan through Klook — it’s located on the 7th floor and you take your shoes off as soon as you get out of the elevator. The staff were really friendly. I added the extra ¥1,500 hairstyle and loved it, they had nice options and it was quick. Just a heads up, you don’t really get a private changing room — if others are there, you’ll change together down to bra/underwear to put on the undergarment. They prefer you to pick your kimono/yukata fairly quickly but will help match accessories. Ladies get a fan, umbrella, and purse; men get a bag, they’re for wallet/passport since they don’t want valuables left behind.
The photographer was great! He has his own car and asked if we had a spot in mind — we said to take us where he recommended. We went to 3 places, he helped us pose, and we got the photos the same day around 10pm. At the end he asked for ¥1,000 cash for parking. Overall, such a lovely experience and I’d definitely...
