One of the restaurant on my bucket list to try while in Osaka!! Finally convinced my wife and daughter to come try this spot and it didn’t disappoint us!! The restaurant opens at 11am and is quite small and only has about 6-7 tables inside. If you want to sit right away I suggest go early when they just open. The queue could be as short as 15-20 mins up to 45mins-1 hr, depends on the time of day and how busy the market is. We went to the store at 11.40am and we had to wait about 10-15 mins. I suggest look over the menu and have items in mind to order to ask questions prior to ordering. Menu is pretty straight forward and easy to navigate. They have Okonomiyaki (I think it’s the Hiroshima style with noodles), Yakiudon, Fried rice, among other items. And they have A5 Wagyu (from different regions like Kobe and Hokkaido). We ordered the Deluxe Okonomiyaki (Pork, Scallions and Egg on top, Squid and Mentaiko Yakiudon, and Wagyu from Hokkaido (Around 120 grams for around ¥4500, not sure the exact number I couldn’t remember but around that weight and price). They’ll ask you for the temperature of the meat but you can extra sear on the grill after. The Okonomiyaki is very delicious, had great flavor and good texture (nice crunch from being on grill, cabbage is still crunchy, udon is soft and chewy) you can add toppings and sauces to your liking. Mentaiko and squid had great flavor of Mentaiko and squid is nice and crunchy. The Wagyu is super tender and really melts in your mouth!! Comes is wasabi, salts, garlic chips and ponzu sauce. Taste very delicious with just salts and garlic chips. The staff here are very friendly and helpful and very patient. They answer all of our questions and waited patiently for our order. This was a very awesome experience!! Definitely worth the money spent!! We will be back the next time...
Read moreForeigners, you had better watch out. When I told the Chinese waitress that I wanted okonomiyaki with seafood, she replied, "This deluxe version is the most popular. I mistakenly thought that the deluxe version recommended by the waitress was the okonomiyaki with seafood, so I ordered it. But as I found out, it did not contain any seafood at all, but only pork and udon noodles, and the price was much higher than the okonomiyaki with seafood. I never understood why this menu item was the deluxe version. As a Japanese, I have eaten many okonomiyaki dishes in my life, and I always thought that "deluxe" meant that the ingredients were not only meat, but also seafood such as shrimp and squid. It is hard to understand why they call it "deluxe" when it is so different and the price is much higher than the other items. Also, I would like to tell many foreigners that, if a restaurant has overwhelmingly many 5-star ratings like this one, you should suspect that they are fabricated comments. In particular, you should take Osaka's Kuromon Market as a terrible place to eat, with no sincerity like in...
Read moreWe had great lunch at this spot in Osaka, where the integrated hot plate at the table was a major highlight! Being able to cook the food to our liking added a fun and interactive element to the meal, making it feel even more authentic.
The Deluxe Okonomiyaki was the star of the show—crispy on the outside, soft and packed with flavor inside. The combination of savory pork, chewy udon noodles, fresh green onions, and a rich, runny egg made each bite incredibly satisfying. The ability to grill it fresh at the table meant we could get the perfect texture and crispness!
The staff were fantastic—friendly and accommodating, ensuring we had everything we needed to enjoy the experience. The atmosphere was vibrant and lively, though the music was a little loud at times, which added to the energetic vibe of the place.
