Don't stay here! I wish I could give zero stars but I can't. This place is dirty and has poor service! I usually don't care that much as long as the bed and bathroom are clean but it just feels like cleaning is secondary here. The bedspread is stained with all sorts of body fluids. The shower curtain and bathroom are filled with mold. The walls of the room look like a Jackson Pollock painting with all sorts of different stains. They should throw out the information pamphlet since it's not correct. We didn't have the "please clean our room sign" so I went to the front desk to ask about it. Turns out they only clean every seven days, we were on a five-night stay so no cleaning for us unless we pay extra. You can get new towels at the front desk but when we got there is was only small towels left. We had to get toilet paper from one of the toilets at the front desk since we only got a half-full roll and no one working here seems to care to leave some outside the hotel room. I say it again don't stay here! People are running around in the middle of the night banging doors and smoking in the hallways. Anyone can get inside the hotel since you don't have to use your keycard to go up the elevator. I wish I could go back in time and book...

If you're seeking hospitality during your stay, you probably won't get much here. It appears to be a non-Japanese hotel.

Pros: Price/availability. Near Golden Gai. ~10 min walk to Shinjuku station Full-size shampoo, conditioner, body wash. Adjustable a/c, fan, heat. The curtain is blackout (I mean SUPER, I could not tell it was broad daylight outside and thought it was middle of the night). Conbini on the same block.

Cons: Do not offer early check-in. Do not offer luggage storage before/after check-in/check-out (no nearby luggage storage either, so use Shinjuku station storage lockers). Front desk will not call a taxi for you. Checkout is 10am (extra 1000¥ for 12, not too bad). The headboard had a crack/dent in it like someone headbutted it. The bottom of the toilet leaked when flushed, so the bathroom floor stayed wet with toilet water. Discovered when questioning why the floor towel was soaking wet. We only had one pair of slippers in the room, so we left them in the bathroom so we didn't have to...

I got a single room on the 6th floor on this solo trip, it's small with a full bed, electric kettle, microwave and mini fridge. Comfortable enough for my 3 day stay. The bathroom is clean with a cute small tub, has all the basic necessities except for hair cap. But they provide a shower sponge which was quite good and Im happy with it :) It's self check in and out. 711 is right next door, very convenient to get my jetlag konbini snacks. View from the window was a parking garage and batting cage. You can watch people walking too. On a Friday night it's quite busy with young people dressed in cosplay style and the area has a lot of host clubs. My only complain is that the wall is very thin. You can hear ppl talking in the corridor or closing the door. Also at night you can hear sirenes. It's busy on Friday night, otherwise it's quiet. Overall I...
