Ippudo - Ueno Hirokoji — Restaurant in Tokyo

Ippudo is a chain of ramen joints, and their ramen can also be bought as instant ramen packs, or diy packs (that's actually why I recognized the name of the place).

Food is ok, I've had worse ramen, but it's not difficult to find better either. Staff is very friendly and know at least a little bit of English. Ordering is done via a tablet, which includes an English menu.

I really did not care for the water/tea they had at the table (the free water every ramen place has). It tasted like it had gone bad.

I had a great time at this ramen spot. The bowl of ramen that was recommended was really good and rich! You are also able to select the firmness of the noodle you get which is also a nice plus to a lot of people!

O really my meal here was very positive. The flavor was nice and rich! The onsen egg addition did the trick for me and they also offered a bowl of rice as a side dish option with an onsen egg for an extra price.

Tldr you can't go wrong with Ippudo. Service was excellent, ramen was delicious, price was higher than your standard ramen places about 1300 to 1600 yen. Super English friendly.

Came in at night solo, got a place immediately. Easy ordering via tablet. Once you click send, prepare your table cos the ramen comes almost immediately, better than fast food restaurants.
