2 words, terrible room. See photo and video attached. I regret to share my disappointing experience during my recent stay at T Hotel JB. Several issues marred what was supposed to be a comfortable and enjoyable visit. Bathroom Mirror Cracked: The bathroom mirror in my room was visibly cracked, creating not only an eyesore but also raising concerns about safety and maintenance standards. Dusty Room: The overall cleanliness of the room left much to be desired. The surfaces were covered in dust, suggesting a lack of attention to detail in the cleaning process. Paint-Stained Bed: Shockingly, the bed in my room had multiple stains of what appeared to be paint. This not only compromised the aesthetics but also raised questions about the overall hygiene and upkeep of the bedding. Stained Table: The table in the room had numerous stains, further contributing to the overall impression of poor cleanliness and maintenance. Cramped Bathroom: The bathroom was uncomfortably small, making it challenging to move around comfortably. The lack of space significantly impacted the overall usability and enjoyment of the facilities. This experience has left me thoroughly dissatisfied, and I believe such issues are unacceptable for any accommodation establishment. I hope this review serves as constructive feedback for improvement

Just 4 min walk from Johor Bahru City Square (ideal for Woodlands checkpoint, JB CIQ, and JB Sentral). Simple budget stay, fine if all you need is a bed and shower. ➡️ RM 50 cash deposit needed (≈ SGD 14, IDR 170,000), refunded at checkout (12 noon next day). It’s right next to KK 24 HOURS MART and comes with a UK port charging outlet (so bring an adaptor). There’s a water dispenser, though it looks a bit outdated, plus an iron and ironing board available. Walk-in rate slightly cheaper than online. Weekdays: • SSNW (Standard Single No Window) – RM 70 (≈ SGD 20, IDR 238,000) • SQNW (Superior Queen No Window) – RM 80 (≈ SGD 23, IDR 272,000) • SQW (Superior Queen Window) – RM 85 (≈ SGD 24, IDR 289,000) • DLK (Deluxe King) – RM 90 (≈ SGD 26, IDR 306,000) Weekends: • SSNW – RM 75 (≈ SGD 21, IDR 255,000) • SQNW – RM 85 (≈ SGD 24, IDR 289,000) • SQW – RM 90 (≈ SGD 26, IDR 306,000) • DLK – RM 95 (≈ SGD 27, IDR 323,000) Small, basic room with clean bed, high wall-mounted TV, ceiling fan, mirror table, and clothes rack. Compact bathroom with water heater, brown-white tiles, toilet, sink, mirror, and small toiletries. Table has a thermos jug, 2 mugs, instant coffee. Qibla direction sticker on ceiling for Muslim guests. Wi-Fi is very slow — almost none on the 3rd floor.

Filthy, foul-smelling, and unlivable, plus dishonest front desk I rarely write reviews, but this place needs an honest warning. The nightmare started at check-in, the receptionist demanded RM10 “tax” and a RM50 deposit. After I paid both, they later pretended the RM10 tax was never received and asked me to pay it again. That was my first red flag. The room itself was worse: it reeked the moment I opened the door, with stained sheets, sticky floors, and grimy walls. I killed two cockroaches on the first night and spent the rest swatting mosquitoes coming in from the bathroom. The bathroom was tiny and unhygienic, with mold in the corners, stained tiles, and a shower that flooded the whole floor. The air-con barely worked, blowing warm air. When I asked for help, the front desk just shrugged. To make matters worse, there was no lift in my section, so I had to drag my bag up the stairs. I’ve stayed in many budget hotels, but this was beyond “basic.” Between the dishonesty at reception, the pests, and the filth, this place felt like a scam. I checked out early and strongly advise others to avoid it.

That day we checked and chosen this hotel was due to we saw the Agoda review seemed okay and my fave hotel is also fully booked so we are left with no choice but to stay on this hotel as its 10-15mins away from ICA / Immigration , and 5mins away to JB Central mall. ||||HOWEVER, This experience was so AWFUL I feel compelled to warn others. This was hands down the MOST DISGUSTING , the VERY WORST and hands down the DIRTIEST hotel I’ve ever stayed in Johor Bahru!!!||||From the moment We walked in, I could tell I’d made a mistake but since it was a holiday Hari Raya Haji , and majority of the hotel nearby are all fully booked it was too late to find another hotel and we need a stop overnight that is near ICA we are left with no choice but to stay.||||The LOBBY smelled musty, the check-in staff looked like they didn’t want to be there, ||Upon check in they ask for your booking details. Get the deposit of RM50. They Pass us the towels ( look worn out towels ) and the aircon remote control ( without any instructions that you need to bring it back to them upon check out!!! ) ||||The STAFF did not even bother to state when they gave the keys the wifi details you have to ask for it||Wherein most of hotels in the vicinity will state this to inform guest of wifi connection availability ||||On the way to our room ||There is Only 1 way up to your room and it takes time to go up as they have 1 lift to cater to all guest! You need to have extreme patience ||||And THINGS ONLY GOT WORST ONCE WE GOT TO THE ROOM||||The ROOM was VERY FILTHY– ||Upon entering the Door was dirty with stains||The bed headboard got a lot of dust||The bedsheet was not clean||The bed some other guest hair was found ||The Pillow case was okay ||||The DRESSER cabinet got stains, dirty with hair and dried up coffee stains or chocolate stains looks bloody stain ( the photo i showed is after i cleaned up using alcohol wet wipes it cannot even remove the stains at all ) ||We got almost no sleep thinking if there are crawling insects but lucky none was found. ||||NO bottle water provided not even 1 in the room , they will put a thermos for you to use and refill water by going to their refill station ( hot and cold water option ). ||The thermos is dirty that u wont dare to use it! As it was not properly washed ||The room got 2 coffee mugs and 2x 3in1 coffee sachet However NO teaspoon provided so how are u able to stir and make the coffee?? ||||The BATHROOM was beyond gross. ||They will provide 2 small tube of shampoo & Body wash ( which smelled like its expired and no foam at all ) ||There are Molds in the shower||Hair in the sink||Broken mirror||Broken handle ||Broken tiles with holes on the wall ||and something sticky on the floor. ||and a toilet that clearly hadn’t been cleaned in days. Look at the photos i provided for your reference ||The toilet seat is also broken ||The flush is working but not totally flushing ||||I DIDNT EVEN FEEL SAFE TOUCHING ||ANYTHING WITHOUT USING A TOWEL AS A BARRIER||||Noise levels were bearable – but paper-thin walls i could hear the next door conversation clearly||||We cannot change room as they stated they are fully booked! So we endured few hours stay until we check out! ||||Lastly, upon check out||We queued to collect our deposit||They have two staff in the counter but only 1 is assisting guest to check in and check out! ||||WORST PART . We are told to go up back to our room ||Take the aircon remote control and pass it to them if not NO DEPOSIT will be REFUNDED to us if we didn’t comply!!||NOTE : upon check in we are not informed of this policy to return to counter staff the remote!!! ||||So i politely ask if they can radio the housekeeping to check on our behalf ( would be more faster option ) as we left the aircon remote control in the room and its very inconvenient to go up again with only 1 lift up and have to queue again to claim our deposit but the staff was rude and saying NO NO WE HAVE TO GO UP OURSELVES TO TAKE BACK AND QUEUE AGAIN !!!||||PLEASE PLEASE STAY AWAY FROM THIS HOTEL!!||||Don’t let any low prices tempt you!!!||The room i review costed me only RM90 ( USD $22 / SGD $27 ) pera night stay after my agoda discount ( i am a Agoda Vip Platinum holder with 25% off room rates ) ||||Thats the only room available when we book online by the way, i doubt even if we booked the most expensive room they have the situation would be the same . the advertised photos vs the actual condition of the hotel is a star contrast!!! ||||It’s not worth your health or peace of mind. There are budget options that don’t involve staying in what feels like a biohazard. AVOID THIS PLACE AT...

This is a lengthy post.

I've made a booking (room with window) through a third party.

Upon checked-in, I realised I was given a windowless room.

I notified the receptionist (even though I had shown her the black and white), and she kept on insisting and repeated two things, which were :-

Your booking is a windowless room.

We did not open the window rooms option to the third party to sell our rooms.

At this moment, I noticed. She wouldn't offer a solution. I had decided to contact the third party which I made the booking from.

Upon hearing my explanation, the third-party representatives (J) emailed the hotel staff to indicate that I did not get the room that I booked.

But still, the receptionist wouldn't do anything, other than insisted that I accept the windowless room.

After 2 hours of struggle, I've decided to cancel this booking and re-book to another hotel as I did not want to deal with the hotel staff anymore.

The main reason I'm writing this post is to bring up the HOTEL STAFF'S PROFESSIONALISM.

Customers pay more for a 5-star hotel for the room's quality and facilities.

Being professional is taking pride in their role, taking responsibility, and being resourceful. It's doesn't matter if you're working for a 2-star or a 5-star hotel.

I understand human-made mistakes, and I can accept that as long recovery is being done.

Even though I had made the booking through a third party, I'm still the hotel customer.

What I observed was that the receptionist wasn't rude but was unprofessional and ignorant. Do take note that the hotel person-incharge was present.

On the other hand, I was extremely delighted by the third-party representatives (J) who stayed with me throughout to deal with the situation. J is exemplary and is an asset to the company.

P/S: I had re-booked a hotel, which room rate is double of this hotel, but I'm glad I did it. It's definitely worth my...

A disaster place...Hotel staff can't define "Mr vs Ms"...no doubt cause those professional is a Mr who is a Ms now...||||The place is so run down and not worth a penny unless you wanted extra services. Everything is so different from the photo that posted in any hotel website. There are uninvited guests visiting the place from time to time (hourly). Wifi wasn't working at all!||||My room looks like a refugee camp or worst for money I pay RM85 per night. I booked for 3 nights but I decided to walk out the place despite my room was changed from lower floor to upper floor (after I personally when down to complaint to the receptionist. Whom so arrogant telling me "mdm, we can't control the guest aka his taking money from the professional! I even called booking.com and Alex told me he can't do much as hotel policy was must charge for a night even you don't like the place. Manager at Booking.com refuse to take up the call) which makes no different because the professional uses the next room at the higher floor.||||The 1st room? Stinky, bed sheet were dirty, the fan was howling loud, bathroom seats was filled with oil and the shower area was pfff...not livable.||||Please do stay at this hotel unless the above reason..solo traveller, couple and family will be out for this place except you know who and what!...Will definitely not recommended or return...Worst than hotel at mae sot who is decent environment and...
