Avoid this hotel at all costs.||Room Issues:||- The microwave's open button is broken, making it unusable.||- The pans are filthy and old, rendering them unusable due to hygiene concerns.||- The cups have coffee stains; we scrubbed them properly before using.||- The bathtub had hair in it, making it too disgusting to use. It was still there on the fourth day when we checked out despite 'daily housekeeping'.||- There was no ironing board or iron, even after thoroughly checking all corners and cupboards.||- The washing machine was faulty and required pressing the power button about 20 times before it worked. I called reception for maintenance but none arrived, until the button eventually worked.||- The dryer was broken, and we had to go to reception on the third day to request a new one because I really needed to use it.||- A leaky bidet caused a puddle in the bathroom, and we had to turn it off after every use.||- The tap water tasted and smelled awful, even after boiling, so we only drank bottled water throughout our stay.||- Although the bed appeared clean, the inner duvet was filthy when held against the light. I only saw this on the last night we stayed there 4D3N and threw the covers off the bed. Explains why I felt itchy for two days, yet I thought it was due to the dust levels outside (see attached pictures).||Service Issues:||- The receptionist, Md Ali, was extremely rude and refused Apple Pay for a deposit that was not mentioned anywhere on the Hotels.com booking (300 RM). His colleague later explained it was because a refund couldn't be done for Apple Pay. However, there was no mention of a deposit required in the fully paid booking.||- Md Ali suggested I leave the hotel to find an ATM to withdraw cash, even though it was pouring rain, and I had a child with me. Only after I pointed out the heavy rain did his colleague tell him to check me in first.||- I made the payment for the tourist tax (RM 30) via debit card at the reception, and he insisted I write down my 16-digit debit card number on the receipt, to which I refused because no other hotel or merchant has ever asked me to do this. His reasoning that it is required to match the receipt and the card I used is ridiculous since I swiped it in front of him. The Trust debit card does not display numbers for a security reason.||- When I returned the next day with the deposit in cash, Md Ali asked, "Oh, so how much?" Is the deposit not fixed?||Due to the school holidays, I couldn't find another affordable room in the KL city center with a child and luggage in tow. With so many issues, I just gave up on the idea of informing hotel management; an issue or two is forgivable, but this many, is just blatant laziness and incompetence, a lack of interest in business honesty and responsibility.||Reading other reviews (which I should have done from the start instead of believing the good Google and hotels.com reviews) made me realize that requesting a refund to check out and find other accommodation would be pointless. I left a review on hotels.com via email after check in but there was no follow up. I didn't pursue the other matters due to a concern for safety for myself and my child after reading the other reviews about stolen items and burglaries at other units.||The only slightly good thing is the proximity to the Raja Chulan RapidKL station but beware of the homeless men sleeping/peeing publicly in the area. The only friendly face I saw in the whole stay was the maintenance guy who brought in the replacement dryer. Awful stay I wouldn't wish on anyone else and will stick to our other preferred apart'hotel near the Avenue K area instead.||Avoid this hotel...

this is not worth what i paid for at a rate of RM400.25 for the 1st night, RM380 for the 2nd night and RM376.70 for the 3rd night This E&O Residences has marketed itself as a "5 star" hotel however no true 5 star hotel would be this poor and for the price i would say you could book a different hotel at least they'd have cleaner rooms and working rooms and heck even better service, even an airbnb would be...
