I stayed in Holiday Inn Express, and spotted this Thai food restaurant from Google Map. And i love Thai food, and this one has many good reviews that I read thru, so i went for it. Especially, i was having a bit flu and got really tired after work, Thai Tom Yum is the first choice on my list.
So I walked there, it took me around less than 10 mins to reach (using the Map). The place was not very crowded at the time I came, around almost 8.30 to 9 pm. The atmosphere was cozy as expected (from the reviews). It's a nice restaurant indeed.
I was seated with a welcome lemongrass drink and a cold towel. After a few minutes scanning the menu, I started my orders. I had a clear Tom Yum with assorted mushroom (vegie), of course, then a steam jasmine rice to go with it, and wanted a Tamarind (restaurant's name as well as a fruit) drink but it was not available. Then I asked the waitress what could help for my flu, she suggested the Monsoon. So i saw a combination of ginger, lemon and honey, straight away get it for me.
While waiting for the food, i have got a welcome food, something sounded like cheese chicken, was crunchy, quite nice.
Then the food came. The main was Tom Yum, it looked nothing much special (as clear, so not colorful). Came to the taste, it was as what I wanted. The combination the ingredients inside the bowl, purple onion, local lime leaves (i noticed coz we used to have this tree in our garden), plus the spice from dried chill but not too much, its the best cure for the one who got flu.
And the Monsoon drink came during the dinner. I mixed a bit here and there, with this and that. Then enjoyed during and after my dinner.
I wrote this review a day after the night. You know what, the next morning, surprisingly (i never thought about this level), i felt like the flu had gone. (During the night, the body was fighting I could tell and i thought will get worse the next day). I am thankful for the meal.
Overall, beside the cozy atmosphere, the food and drink was great. The waitress was nice, always smiled, and a guy stood in the bar was nice too, he even came to explain to me about the food in the menu one time. They all were friendly.

Location: I spend 40 minutes finding this restaurant. The google maps and waze directions is wrong. Till we called the restaurant and they told us to waze their neighbour restaurant name. Share this experience with the server, they say they will improve on this.
Experience: overall is good, I paid for 3 for 3 set (6pax) but due to my aunt suddenly wanted to join our celebration, we had additional 1 more pax. Inform the server to cook 6 pax and no need to adjust due to all small eater, so had some conversation here with the server and glad they understand my situation and request. The unpleasant experience will be 1st my brother asked the server is the coffee refillable, reason being we want to know whether to ask for the coffee serve immediately or during dessert time, but since the server say will make an exception, everyone is very happy and had our coffee early. Due to the spicy soup, a few of us finish our ice coffee immediately. When we ask for the promised refill, the server then told us that they need to check and the answer we get is no. I am like, just tell us the honest respond and we don’t mind to plan ourself or pay for the drinks, but literally my family not happy on this sudden change. 2nd I the food portion is a lot, I ask for a take away for my rice, to my surprise, the takeaway in this restaurant means really take it away and u will never see it again 😂. Subsequently when my sister say da pao, she get her food packed. So remember to use Malaysian English in this restaurant. My bad for not considering this and my food is gone.
Food is really great. Almost everything is super nice. The only issue is my family is small eater so we literally get everything dapao except for my missing rice. The hot and sour soup is very spicy, none of us can drink the soup, but the beef is really 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻 super tender and delicious. The highlight is the musang king pulut, but it will be best if it’s serve cold than warm. Well again, this is personal preference. Overall the taste of good is...

The food was good and the price is reasonable. You may find monkeys around your table while enjoying food there. If you're tired of city, this is your next destination in KL. A lovely place all in all from the ambiance to the staff being welcoming and friendly. The environment is so soothing and you enjoy yourself thoroughly. I ordered the basil tofu, grilled chicken, lemongrass tiger prawns with okra fried rice and a few drinks. The food was really good and the portion size was satisfying. Their basil tofu was a little too salty for my taste. In addition to that they have variety of drinks on their bar from fruity cocktails to detox juices and even fresh coconuts.😊🍛🍜🍕💕
They have a welcoming lemongrass and ginger tea , they also serve a welcoming starter of spring roll with Thai sweet sauce. They have cold towels before you start your meal and the servers check up on you on a regular basis to see your level of comfort. In terms of price it is quite expensive an estimate would be 150 MYR /person. I would highly recommend this place for celebrations whether it's anniversaries, birthdays, graduation dinners or even...
