Check-in Process: Needs to be faster. Too much data entry is required by the receptionist, even though everything was submitted and paid for online. Guests are tired and want to rest immediately, so the process should be quicker.- Room Key Issue: The check-in took almost 15-20 minutes, and the room key didnāt work, I had to return to the lobby again to get a replacement!- Deposit: A RM 20 cash deposit is required, which is inconvenient. In the era of e-wallets, most people donāt carry cash anymore; this should be eliminated.- Room Size: The room is small but equipped with basic facilities and safety box.- Power Outlet: The room has 1x standard local 3-pin/UK power outlet by the bed, 1x international power outlet next to the study table.- The Superior Queen room has excellent soundproofing, even though it faces the outside window, and the window allows plenty of natural light.- The air conditioning provides good cooling.- Hair dryer & water heater is available. Ironing board + iron outside of the room in the hallway.- I appreciate the bed lighting, which can be dimmed without the main light being too bright, making it comfortable for both sleeping and working.- Thereās a study table, and the room comes with instant coffee and drinking water.- WiFi: The WiFi is fast for online conference & social media access.- Prayer Space: There's a kiblat sign, and although the space is tight, there's just enough room to pray without having to do so on the bed.- There is a lift.- Toiletries: Basic toiletries provided: bottled soap and shampoo. No toothbrush though.- Dining: Thereās a mamak restaurant on the ground floor. The staff are very friendly, and the food is delicious and served hot. You should try their nasi lemak with hot fried chicken.- Bonus: Choose windowed rooms so you can watch people savouring their Malaysian food and chatting in the...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreWe had an overall pleasant stay at Metro Hotel @ KL Sentral. The location was simply fantastic ā 11 out of 10 points! The hotel is right in the heart of Little India, close to a large mall and countless incredibly good restaurants. Breakfast was included for us and took place in a restaurant located just about 2 minutes away from the hotel. Initially, we were skeptical, but we were pleasantly surprised by the quality and taste of the food! Although it was just a small breakfast, the prices made it absolutely feasible to order something extra.Unfortunately, there were also some downsides. Our room had no windows and no ventilation in the bathroom, which led to a constant unpleasant humidity and strange smell. Additionally, we were unfortunate enough to get a room right next to the elevator. We could constantly hear the arrival and departure of the elevator both day and night, which is not ideal for light sleepers. In this case, it would be advisable to switch rooms immediately. However, the staff were all super nice and accommodating. They securely stored our luggage for 2.5 hours before we continued our journey, which was a great help.Overall, it was a mixed stay, but the great location and friendly staff contributed significantly to our comfort. And for this price, we would...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI was staying here for 1 month for work purposes. Overall facility just standard, as you can expected for a small hotel, however the service from some staff here is honestly quiet nice, especially from the Housekeeping guy (the tall big tattoed guy - sorry I forgot the name), that is why I give these 3 stars, or else I might only give 2 stars. He always ask for room clean and also the only staff that actually have conversation with me (eventho short one). I actually want to highlight some certain situation which I felt quiet bothering for me, maybe for other guests as well. The lobby supposed to be always nice and cold and comfortable, but almost all the time found lobby in quiet hot temperature, and even sometimes had a very bed smell, quiet bothering actually. I know it supposed to be part of the housekeeping team job, however, there was also Front Desk staff that always there at the lobby, they can actually just take part of it, helping other team's duty, it is not going to put you on debt, right? Sorry I'm just saying. Just improve and keep up some of...
