!!LIGHTSLEEPERS MUST READ!!
Rooms: First of the biggest red flag in this place is that they have fleece blankets. The single pods are also placed inside the wall with your feet towards the opening, not very comfortable and if you are above 5'10 your feet will start to stick out and you can't even fully close the curtain because it wil bump against the metal staircase of the upper bunk.
It is run by Indians, and has a lot of Indians renting rooms, my experience was horrible because somebody decided to think it was okay to answer a phone call at 1am, also a couole guys came in drunk and started talking loud and after confronting both a mild sorry is all you can get. Eitherway there were alot of self entitled indian people who didn't really care about others. But that's situational
The service was okay at most, and then i am giving them extra credit. Upon checking in there was no key for me, they told me they ran out for the day while the upoer bunks we're mostly empty so that was weird. This added that you had to manually ring the bell at front which echoed in the room because the door wasn't fully locked because of the shortage of keys. I didn't receive a towel at check-in, and the showers are poorly maintained with no soap or toilet paper(i use the bum gun mostly) as well.
Side note: if you don't have a cancelation policy insurance you won't get your tourist tax back!
The location is great however considering tge rest of the quota i strongly recommend you don't book here. I checked out at 2am because polyester blankets are just a no go combined with alk the other faulty room elements and the situation with the...
Read moreAnother guest (Ash) physically attacked me after I told her to stop talking badly about me. She punched, kicked, grabbed my only good arm (I’m paralyzed in the other), threw me on the floor, and stomped on my pelvis. The staff member on duty, Muhammed, did nothing to stop her. He just yelled at us to stop and later blamed me for “defending myself.” There were many witnesses, but he refused to take responsibility.||||When I told him I was going to the police, he called me several times, threatened me with immigration and police if I didn’t listen to him, and tried to guilt me into staying quiet.||||On top of this, Muhammed repeatedly harassed me. He made sexual remarks, touched me inappropriately, and even suggested I sleep in his room. He became jealous when I spoke to other men and constantly crossed boundaries.||||He also mismanages money, lets people stay for free, and openly favored Ash (the girl who attacked me) by paying for her food and giving her money.||||This hostel is unsafe, unprofessional, and does not protect its guests. If you are a woman or a foreigner, I strongly recommend...
Read moreA very near hostel to Jln Alor (aka the busiest night food street at Bukit Bintang area)!
A new place (according to the staff, just less than a yr in operations). Pro: Very strategic location to jln alor, if you willing to walk, you can actually walk till the St Anthony Church and subsequently till the Kota Raya and then Petaling St Place is new. So eventually the bed is okay Suitable for short term Pocket-friendly
Cons: Toilets and showers are not cleaned well despite the place are new. Need to be cleaned daily. And also it is not near to the dorms, so you need to pass by the receptionist area/common area The bunks are actually quite small and just fits. Looks from Ago*a can be nice but in reality……see on your own then. It can be like not-so women friendly for the current time being as this place is still new and may not be known well still as most of the stayers are male.
**disclaimer: all of this are on my personal opinion. Other ppl have their own POV. So do judge wisely and see on your own eyes and...
