OYO 90160 Kl City Lodge — Hotel in Kuala Lumpur

Don't be fooled by the Agoda pictures, this is what it looks like for the room i rented. The toilet is elevated and you have to be careful not to slip when coming out. You are only given a soap and towel. They do not provide kettle to boil water nor a mug for you to hold any drinks. You have to walk all the way down to level 1 just to get drinkable water and there is no lift for your convenience. The wallboards are very thin that you can easily hear people talking, moaning loudly or watching loud television from your room. The aircond however is very cold, and quick to cool the room. Unfortunately I was not provided the temperature control except having to switch on and off the main power. Location wise its just across the UTC Pudu Sentral. Though the surrounding area is hard to find decent place to eat. There are two grocery stores next to it for your convenience to get light...

Book through agoda. Upon arrival, the employee at the counter asked for additional money to get another room because the room I booked through agoda was full and he also stated that the price offered by agoda was not in line with the hotel price. Very unreasonable. Arrogant employees with poor service. If you booked through agoda and this happens, the hotel will not cancel the reservation and you have to call agoda yourself to do it. In my case, I had to wait up to 2 hours for customer service to solve the problem. Very waste of time. Agoda stated that it takes 7 days to a month to get a refund. I was lucky the next day I got a refund. Came from a far away place to relax but had to go through a very bad experience. I strongly do not recommend this terrible hotel. There are many other better hotels around the area. Don't fall for this...

One of the worst hotels I have ever seen, I booked through Agoda and got a reciept for the 10myr tourist tax but receptionist wouldn't honor, this is to keep the price down so they will get more bookings online, very shady. This was just the beginning, no elevator at all, I had a 5th floor room, annoying but I can walk up stairs but the room was absolutely disgusting. Honestly, I've stayed in budget hotels before but this place is next level, super smelly room with cigarette burns in the blanket and sheets. The bathroom is tiny, no hot water and the walls are so thin that it sounds like your neighbour is in the room with you. I instantly knew I could not sleep here and got a room elsewhere.

DO NOT STAY HERE!!!!!!
