Location: situated at the end of Jonker Street so it was really convenient to visit the night market. We drove and most locations we visited was within 15mins drive.
Parking: there is hotel parking available in the vicinity, not located within the compound. Over the weekends when the hotel was booked out and we came back late, all the parking spaces were not available and we had to find roadside parking farther away. On Sunday, we came back earlier to make sure we get parking so it’s just something for those driving to take note.
Rooms: our room was big enough to place a baby cot that the hotel provided. Room was clean and simple, nothing too fancy or grand about it. The shower only had a rain shower head which was a bit troublesome. Room had a mini fridge that allowed us to store breastmilk. Concierge was also helpful and helped us store our ice packs in their freezer.
Considering how Jonker Street is just below, the sound isolation is pretty good because the moment we enter the hotel, the bustle and noise drowns out. Curtains were also blackout enough to have my infant sleep...
Read moreThe deluxe room is priced at around RM 250 per night, which is usually the rate for a 4-star or higher hotel. Given this price, I expected a peaceful night. However, our room faced the street, and on Friday and Saturday nights, the noise was quite disruptive to our sleep. The hotel should consider improving the soundproofing of the windows or allowing customers to choose rooms based on noise levels. The room is clean and the bed is comfortable. On the bright side, the location is fantastic, right on Jonker Street.
I deducted one star from my review due to the hotel providing toothbrushes that are easily broken with light pressure. As you can see from the picture, both brushes broke while brushing teeth, and the broken parts can easily cut your mouth.
