M International Inn — Hotel in Malacca

Most staff unfriendly, lazy, and really unhelpful. Others don't seem to understand the regulations. They charge more on the weekends(many places do in Melaka but not all). Extremely poor cleaning standards!! 'Clean' towels only every SECOND day. When room was infested by ants they told us they would spray, then move us into another room the next day. This was after explaining to them that we already used our own (less toxic) spray, and different ants continued to come. They old us they were fully booked (this was early evening) and they would move us in the morning. After explaining to them a number of times that we did not want to be bitten by red ants all night.. there was magically two rooms on the 3Rd floor available. They moved us into a room with a raised bed. This room had cockroaches, ants, spiders and many mosquito's. Still no controls for the air-con.. only freezing or hot (a box on the wall with Start and Stop). We 'settled' as best we could when we received this fowl sewage smell. After self investigation (smelling the bathroom, windows and door) we realized it was coming from the air-conditioner.. Strongly advised not to stay here! There will always be somewhere else, even on the same street or the one beside it, the same...

you cn go here if u just need a place to sleep. nope. even then i wont suggest. coz i booked this place for that purpose. planned to cut cost as i'll be arriving late in melaka and i just needed a place to stay for the first day. i was moving out to a different hotel the next day. still i didnt liked the place. ALOT of mosquitoes. i was keep sneezing thru out the night due to dusty bed. and the bed was on the floor. not suitable for elderly people. no space at all in the room. no mirror. when i get down opps no.. when i 'moved' out of my bed, just one step, and tadaaaa i've rched the bathroom. thats how small the room is. bathroom is veryyyy small, but moderately clean. now the call is yours if you still wanna book this place....

No bed. Only matress. But thats fine. Ive booked a super budget room. What more can I expect? no lift. Not enough parking. Hard to find this place, due to no signboard /...
