As vegetarians traveling through the islands of Mali, we’ve found our options limited—mostly dhal and lentils day after day. So discovering Wood Cafe was a truly refreshing and much-needed change 🌟.
We ordered the vegetarian falafel wrap and the vegetarian falafel burger. Both are plant-based options, which is rare to find around here—but if you’re only getting one, order the wrap! It was flavorful, well-balanced, and hit all the right notes. The burger, while appreciated, was a bit dry and heavily fried compared to the wrap’s deliciously wrapped goodness.

In the menu, you can see various options, Arabic, Maldivien, Pizza, dessert and so on.
I ordered Nasi Goreng, which came in a generous portion with plenty of meat and even included a meat skewer and a fried egg. Food was delicious indeed!
And the best part is that the restroom is very clean, which is essential to me.
