Beach Breeze & Spa is a cozy and budget-friendly hotel located on Dhigga Magu Road in Hulhumalé. It’s just a 15–20 minute drive from Velana International Airport and offers easy access to the eastern beach.
The hotel is a four-story building with four rooms on each floor. Two of the rooms on the beachside have balconies with beautiful ocean views, while the other two are standard rooms. The beachside rooms are more spacious compared to the standard ones. Amenities include air conditioning, a TV, WiFi, shampoo and shower gel, toilet tissue, and two complimentary 500ml water bottles.
The hotel is in a prime location, with well-maintained rooms and friendly staff. Being budget-friendly, it’s a great option for travelers looking for an affordable stay. There are several cafés and restaurants nearby, making it easy to find dining options.
A few downsides include the lack of breakfast service and some street noise due to the hotel’s central location, though it’s not too loud.
Overall, my experience at Beach Breeze & Spa was good. It’s a comfortable and convenient place to stay, especially for those looking for an affordable beachside hotel...
Read moreI didn’t choose to stay at Beach Breeze and Spa, but when illness compelled a stop-off from a liveaboard dive boat, Beach Breeze showed up as a good value for a beach front room with balcony. It’s been a lovely stay and I’m glad to have landed here. The beautiful marble floors and jacuzzi tub notwithstanding, this is not a “fancy” hotel - no lift, IKEA furniture and the spacious bathroom could use better lighting. But who cares? The important things are in place. The room and linens are immaculately clean, the bed very comfortable and the staff are fantastic - friendly and attentive. No restaurant but there many good places in the immediate area. I had a very nice massage in the 3rd floor spa. ||The location is ideal, near the middle of Hulhumalé Beach. Everything is within walking distance. There’s even surprisingly decent snorkeling just across from the hotel - saw Picasso triggerfish and several small blue-lipped clams in the shallow water, along with a variety of small reef fish.||As a solo female traveler, I’m happy to say I felt safe and well looked after during my stay.||A clean, comfortable retreat at Hulhumalé Beach - highly...
Read moreI reserved an overnight for two couples at Beach Breeze & Spa through WhatsApp as their website states they don't work with 3rd party bookers (though they appear to use booking.com). They seem to only check this account once every week or two and it took some time to get it confirmed. I paid for the room and was told I would get an email confirmation once the payment had gone through but never did receive it. In two weeks I have sent them 3 messages and received no answers. Now one week before we leave on our trip I see that it has been refunded to my card. No communication from the hotel about my reservation being canceled and the rooms appear to still be available. Now I'm scrambling to find a new pace and very disappointed in their service. We were looking forward to our stay but now I'm just incredibly frustrated and disappointed in their unprofessionalism and lack of...
