Food: I tried the Pepperoni Diavola and the Beef Ragu pasta. While the pizza had a slightly undercooked crust and barely cooked pepperoni for my taste and preference, it tasted delightful. I would recommend the classic pepperoni over the Diavola next time. The Beef Ragu was flavorful, with rich tomato and herb notes. However, the fresh pasta was a bit thinner than what I'd prefer to be ideal. Despite confirming with the server that the ragu came with fresh pasta, I was surprised to be charged extra for it. Given the "Chef's Recommended" status, it would be helpful if Scoozi included the additional price for fresh pasta with the dish.
Drinks: For a drink, since the Mixed Berry Italian Soda was unavailable, I had to switch to a strawberry soda. Once mixed well, the drink was refreshing, but it took multiple paper straws and a fork to stir it properly. My server finally offered a plastic straw to me. I recommend requesting a small spoon for sodas.
Service: The service was friendly and efficient, with the order repeated multiple times to ensure accuracy. While perhaps a bit unnecessary, I guess it guarantees order precision. I hope the process becomes smoother with time.
Atmosphere: The place is welcoming, airy, and bright. However, the 4-person table sofas were uncomfortable due to their depth, preventing leaning back. I moved to a table with separate, comfier chairs. Outdoor seating is also available for those who prefer it.
Overall, the food and experience was enjoyable, but there definitely are a few things that would need to...
Read moreDespite all the reviews I received from my friends who have been there I decided to go and get my own experience. Ordered pesto genoves (Italian dough ), classic pepperoni ( thin crust ) and snack plater as starter. 1st the starter arrived with the pepperoni pizza at same time , the chicken fingers was not properly cooked , wings are not marinated ( only the sauce on top ) even the garlic bread (which is the easiest thing to be made ) was not properly toasted. Pepperoni pizza tomato sauce has no herbs ( parsley or thyme ) so it lacks the Italian taste. Pesto genoves was the best of them all, my problem with it was the dough ( I’ve asked for Italian one while there was no difference between both pizzas I received )
The 2nd worse thing was the drinks 🥲 Ordered play it safe smoothie and passion fruit juice Smoothie tasted like cough syrup and passion fruits juice it not fresh ( they kept so much syrup to the level it was so sour )
I hope they improve the cooking experience as ppl go to italian places for the food 1st then for the atmosphere.
I have to admit it , all the staff was so welcoming and helpful to the extreme Will leave you with some...
Read moreFirst time dine in, beautiful design restaurant, ambience is really good, feeling cozy, they do have outdoor seating. Indoor with AC at night is bright, but outdoor look dark and warm. Restaurant is centrally located at junction, easy access, surrounded with other shop and souvenir shop, you can walk around after your meal.
Unexpected the food arrived to our table very fast, all dishes came so quickly, which we do not have to wait for long time even restaurant is busy at that evening. If you are here to celebrate your special occasion would be nice.
All staff were very polite and friendly, they seem well train. We appreciate their service.
Overall food not bad, good portion that can feed your stomach. For me Risotto is much creamy, i cant find much risotto, this could be improve, maybe i have tasted the authentic Risotto at Italy, there is a room can be improve.
