Atoll Transfer — Local services in Malé

We used Atoll Transfer to take us from Male to our resort, as a private transfer, return. From Male to the resort, everything ran smoothly, they were on time etc and we were happy with their service. We had booked a return transfer to take us back to Male for our flight, and they were 45mins late, which was a very stressful experience. We kept asking where our boat was, and the Company told us they were on their way but they couldn't contact the driver because there wasn't any reception out on the boat/sea. We tried to book alternatives, because we didn't know if we were going to make our flight on time, but it was too short notice. If you are going to use them, book your transfer much earlier than you actually need them, just in case...

NEVER EVER BOOK A TICKET FROM ATOLL TRANSFER. THEY OVER CHARGE IN OUR CASE CHARGED US 150% OVER THE TICKET AMOUNT. WHEN APPROACHED TO CANCEL THE TICKET THE DAY BEFORE THE TRAVEL THEY LITERALLY SHUT THE OFFICE DOOR ON US. VERY VERY RUDE BEHAVIOUR, AND DEFINATELY THE WORST WE EVER SAW IN MALDIVES. EVEN THE POLICE REFUSED TO TAKE ANY ACTION ONCE THEY HEARD ATOLL TRANSFER NAME. It seems as everyone who books from Atoll Transfer faces the same problem, to which the police also doesn't seem to care about. After all the ordeal, when we boarded the speedboat, the person from Atoll Transfer came and started clicking our pictures (in green t-shirt). SEEMS AS MALDIVES IS NOT A SAFE PLACE...

DO NOT BOOK ANY TRANSFER FROM THEM. THEY NOT ONLY CHEAT YOU BUT ALSO HARASSE YOU. WE BOOKED 2 TICKECTS FROM MALE TO DHIGURAH VIA SPEEDBOAT AND THEY CHARGED US $169. WHEN ASKED WHY WAS THERE SUCH A HUGE DIFFERENCE IN PRICE, THEY STARTED YELLING AND SHUT THEIR OFFICE DOOR ON OUR FACE... THE GUY ALSO SNATCHED THE PHONE THAT HAD TICKETS AND TRIED CRUSHING IT. WE TRIED ASKING FOR HELP FROM POLICE BUT THE POLICE WONT HELP EITHER. We have the videos of the incident and arguements. They tried to even push us and hold the lift when we tried to leave. Such rowdy people ... Please be aware of such...
