Hotel Acme Inn — Hotel in Kathmandu Metropolitan City

No hate, just some advice for improvement

I think this hotel might be a better fit for locals rather than foreign travelers. In my opinion, the price should be much lower considering the service, furniture, and safety. I paid Rs 5900 for one night, but compared to hotels in other countries at the same price, the quality is not on the same level. I only booked here because it was recommended by one sister.

It was December, and unfortunately, the AC was not working. The blanket provided was very small, so I couldn’t sleep well due to the cold.

Also, around midnight, someone was shouting “police” right in front of my door. It was quite unsettling, and I wonder what kind of impression my Japanese boss got of Nepal after this...

This is probably the best hotel at an affordable price in central Thamel area. Right from the beginning till we depart, all the staffs at concierge been so amiable n helpful throughout our staying. Especially Ashok, Akash n Jeena have always been there with a smiling face n humble attitude throughout our staying. The hotel comes with an Amazing garden that’s hardly available with any other hotel in this area. The rooms are spacious n well ventilated. Washrooms are equipped with all modern amenities n always maintained clean. Even the cleaning staffs been so welcoming n always interacted with a smiling face. Very nice hotel with clean rooms and delicious breakfast right in the center of Thamel. We had hot shower, pretty fast wifi and they will store your luggage during your trek.
