This is the second time I have stayed at Hotel Mountain Gateway. I also stayed here in March 2018 and had such a wonderful time that I re-booked again this year! The rooms are decent with comfortable beds, aircondition and hot water. There is also a new variety of breakfast choices (I recommend their masala tea and eggs!) Very decent, cosy and affordable accomodation. The hotel is in heart of Thamel, therefore making it quite convenient for moving around the city. Lovely night clubs (TIA) kathmandu main airport is approx 30 minutes away by car and the hotel has a shuttle/transfer service too! Laundry service and late check in and out is available if you request. This place feels like home to me now as everyone is so friendly and helpful. There are various different passwords for the wifi depending on what floor you are on or if you are in the lobby, but ultimately the wifi works pretty well throughout the hotel. Most Kathmadu hotel standard are same or less but with higher prices, so if you are looking for value for money this...

We booked our first stay very far in advance and had it for a very cheap price including breakfast. The second time we stayed was more expensive but still pretty good value for money. The staff at the hotel are so friendly and welcoming. They allowed us to leave our suitcase there for the majority of our stay in Nepal free of charge. The room was clean and comfortable. Very comfortable big bed if you book deluxe double. Thank you so much, hopefully see...

And just two doors next to the hotel is where tourists usually go for the famous Nepali cultural dance at a restaurant called Atithi - so it’s all convenient if you’re...
