Gauchan Thakali Kitchen — Restaurant in Kathmandu Metropolitan City

This place only had a few Google reviews and is off the main strip but I decided to give it a try. The host spoke little English but plenty to get by. We had the Ghol chicken Momos, fried rice, and beef hamburger. The fried rice was more like a chicken buryani but very well seasoned and not dry. The Momos were fantastic with the Ghol sauce being packed with flavor. Although not the greatest, the burger was a welcome change from my last few months in a beef less India. Food came in about 35 minutes and we had popcorn as a free appetizer. THEY TAKE CREDIT CARD WITH NO ADDED FEE. A rare thing to find in this city. They serve unhealthy food 😡😡 and also too much expensive. 2024/12/22 we went to this Gauchan thakali kitchen than we order thakali food when we start to eat it smiling bad than we complain waiter but they didn’t listen to us. Service was very bad I am totally disappointed. Food is ok but the atmosphere was very crowded. We order for two people but they bring food for 1person after one hour long wait and we ask another food with waiter but she didn’t reply at all so strange.
