My friend and I recently had the pleasure of staying at Hotel Nepalaya for a couple of days, and it was truly an exceptional experience. From the moment we arrived, we were impressed by the cleanliness, amenities, and hospitality offered by this wonderful hotel.
First and foremost, the room was impeccably clean and comfortable, providing us with a cozy retreat after a day of exploration. The complimentary Wi-Fi was a welcome bonus, allowing us to stay connected with loved ones back home and plan our adventures in Kathmandu with ease.
The airport pick-up service provided by Hotel Nepalaya was incredibly convenient and hassle-free. It gave us peace of mind knowing that transportation to and from the airport was taken care of, allowing us to focus on enjoying our stay.
The breakfast served at the hotel was delicious and satisfying, providing us with the perfect start to each day. The variety of options catered to different tastes, ensuring that there was something for everyone to enjoy.
Above all, the staff at Hotel Nepalaya truly went above and beyond to make our stay memorable. From the warm welcome at check-in to the friendly assistance throughout our stay, their genuine hospitality made us feel like valued guests.

Read moreStayed in Hotel Everest Nepal for 1 night when I arrived in Nepal and for 3 nights after I finished my trek until the 7th of Nov 2019.
Currently checked into another hotel and for future reference, will definitely choose Hotel Everest Nepal if I ever visit Nepal again in the future.
Plus points: The hotel has an elevator. Important thing to consider when choosing a hotel in Nepal; the buildings are tall and narrow and there's a likelihood you'll have to go several flights of stairs if you don't request a room on the lower levels. Plus if you're here for trekking, your heavy bag/s won't help you going up the stairs ;)
The staff are very friendly and will go out of their way to help you go around. Thank you Bishal for the excellent service and Anil for helping me navigate my way :)
Room is comfy, with basic amenities provided. Being air-conditioned is a plus point. Some hotels here only use fans. And no bugs sighted 👍
Breakfast provided is delicious. They dont have a big spread but the food is sufficiently good.
Its not located right in front / near the main roads, which is very good. You can have a good, quiet rest at night.
Room for improvement:
The towels look a bit old. But at least they...

The hotell is clean. Silent at night. Bed is comfortable.
All the staff is really nice, helpful and really kind. I have been given a yoga mat and a huge room, as there were vacancies, for same price.
There is the possibility to have trekking routes organized and opersonalized without having to think about anything, for accessible prices.
The hotel staff has been always paying attentiin to my necessities.
Meals are served on a beautiful terrace, from wich you can see amazing sunsets. Bar and restaurant is open to public. The food is authentic and really good. The cooker cared a lot. Breakfast was omelette, banana, potatoes and peppers, bread, butter and jam. For lunch) dinner i have been served thali with omelette or rice or chapati, noodles or noodle soup. Food is abundant and kitchen is actually ooen 7.30am to 9.30pm.
They are implementing a sauna in the hotel at the moment and ayurvedic massagw service.
A minus for me has been the wifi connection which was a bit slow (not possible to video call fe) aa i work online. But I think it is pretty common in Nepal, and they helped me buying a sim card: 10 gb...
