Dining at Kava Grill inside the Fairfield by Marriott Kathmandu was one of the best culinary experiences I’ve had in Nepal. The setting is welcoming, modern, and impeccably clean — the kind of place where you immediately feel at ease.

The service was outstanding, filled with warm smiles and genuine hospitality from the entire team. Every staff member went above and beyond to make the evening enjoyable, and their attentiveness made the experience truly special.

The food was phenomenal. Between the Kava menu and the Japanese offerings, the selection was impressive, and I loved that I could order from both. Every dish that came out of Chef Ram’s kitchen was perfectly prepared, beautifully plated, and bursting with flavor. The unique blend of spices and freshness of ingredients made each bite memorable. I regret not taking pictures — each plate was truly a work of art.

A long overdue review. I had selected Fairfield’s Kava restaurant to celebrate my daughter’s sixth birthday party in early September. We opted for the ala-carte. Food is of outstanding quality and freshness. One can tell that they put a lot of care in selecting the best ingredients and making the food as tasty as possible. Staff is very kind and accommodating, all our requests were met with a smile and positive attitude. I wanted to extend my gratitude to Mr. Sandeep and Mr. Khem who made sure we were well taken care of. My daughter even received a birthday gift from them. I stayed here for 12 nights and almost every day I came here for breakfast and dinner. The food here is absolutely delicious, and the dining environment is excellent. What impressed me the most is that all the staff are incredibly friendly. Thank you so much for taking such good care of me — you always remembered what I like to eat and drink.

Though you still don’t remember which room I’m staying in and always have to ask for my room number, that actually makes me smile.
