HOTEL SISTERS HOME — Hotel in Kathmandu Metropolitan City

I recently had the pleasure of staying at Hotel Sisters Home in Thamel, Kathmandu, and it was an incredible experience! From the moment I arrived, Didi, the owner, made me feel like part of the family. Her warm hospitality and genuine care for her guests truly set this place apart.

The hostel itself is cozy and well maintained, with comfortable rooms that offer a relaxing atmosphere after a day of exploring the vibrant streets of Thamel. The location is perfect, close to shops, restaurants, and cultural sites, making it easy to immerse yourself in the local culture.

One of the highlights of my stay was the delicious breakfast offered each morning. Didi's homemade meals were not only tasty but also gave me a taste of authentic Nepalese cuisine.

I highly recommend Hotel Sisters Home to anyone visiting Kathmandu. Whether you are a solo traveler or with friends, this hostel provides a welcoming environment thats hard to beat.

I stayed at Hotel Sisters Home at the beginning and end of my trip, and I couldn't have asked for anything better. For a very reasonable price, you are centrally located in Thamel. The rooms are clean, and you can get incredibly delicious Momos at a very affordable price. There's a club opposite that is open at night, but it didn't bother me. During my 5-week trip, I was able to leave my suitcase for storage free of charge. The owners and staff are all incredibly friendly, helpful, and open to nice conversations. At the end of my journey, I brought a friend who was also very satisfied. I felt very comfortable here and would come back anytime. If I return to Nepal, I will check in here again. If you love a homey atmosphere in the middle of Thamel, you have got to give Dee Dee a try. Her rooms are super clean, her cooking is clean, cheap, and out-of-this-world delicious. Dee Dee is very kind, fair, and willing to help out with anything. Her workers are honest and very nice to be around. I felt very safe here as a single woman traveler, and I think you will too.

If you go out onto the street, you are literally five minutes from any kind of cuisine you want. There are also night clubs within a few minutes' walk. I wholeheartedly recommend Hotel Sisters Home.
