The breakfast was delicious and the staff are incredibly helpful, they gave us invaluable advice on where to visit in Kathmandu, where to trek, what to take and stored our luggage for us during our trek. Read moreWorst Customer Service. Not upfront about anything. No proper parking facility. Charged much on parking. I had to describe every single details of my booking. I booked a deluxe double and they tried to stick me with standard twin room. Then they saw my booking and tried to place me in a double room with no ac. Later on, i had to manage by merging two beds and that was really uncomfortable the whole night. The wordt part was they tried to convience me that the booking system had error. This is irrelevant to me because i paid for what i wanted not what their system...
Read moreI stayed for a month in Kathmandu and Mantra Home felt like my home there. Staff were always helpful, breakfast was good and the place was clean and comfortable. There is no elevator and 6/7 floors so I requested a lower floor to help my old knees. I loved my room at the front of the building on 3rd floor where I could watch life on Z street from my window. It can be a bit noisy at night though....especially early morning when there is rubbish pick up etc. so some ear plugs...
