Mountain Backpackers Hostel — Hotel in Kathmandu Metropolitan City

Second Day in Kathmandu Nepal 🇳🇵

I booked dorms at Mountain Backpackers Hostel which is cost me 150rs/per day. 24hrs hot water available. Located at Thamel street in front of LOD club🤩

LOD is very famous night club at Thamel street and very much secure. I’m strongly recommend this club. Entry fees 650rs There are lots of dance bars available in this street but 95% you will end up with bad experience. Pls don’t try dance bar at it by any name.

Food ~ veg thali 120rs(unlimited), aluparotha 40rs one, Tea 12rs,

Sim card ~ I bought Ncell SIM card in 200rs. Sim includes 85rs talk time balance, 1.5gp data balance. My frd bought Same SIM card with same package but he spent 500rs. Because he bought in Thamel street. Everything expensive in Thamel street but next to parallel of this street is less expensive. Pls be in aware.

Just roamed around the street and gathered information for nearby place visit in budget way. I used share auto to go everywhere which is only 20 Nepal currency. Pls drop your queries in comments section

We stayed in this hostel before we started our trek and afterwards for one night again. The rooms are spotless clean and the beds very comfortable! The common toilet was wet the most time, but it's not really the fault of the hostel, it's caused by other guests. Breakfast there is cheap and good. Outside it's very loud, but I think that's normal in Thamel especially on the main road. In the evening the atmosphere gets a little bit strange. Most of the time there are sitting some guys in the reception area and most of them are drunk. It seems not really professional then, but they were alway friendly and helped us with problems! Would stay there again, because for organizing the trek and renting all the gear it's a good place in...

Wow just wow|truly the worst accomidation and hostel I have ever been in my year trip to Asia|and I think the most horrible experience in dorms ever.|Start with the location and infrustracture of the hostel: Terible|rooms and beds: Horrible|loud noise at night from outside, having a bar right infront |people in the dorms felt free to smoke inside suffecating the room hardly little room to breath|Electricity not working |Toilet and shower horrible||so in the end, after traveling almost a year in Aisa visting lots of countries|this is by far was my worst stays and nights ever|zero consideration for the tourists||Highly recommend to STAY AWAY from this place 0/10|there are othet great cheap options around the...
