Stayed here for total 6 nights during our recent visit in Cusco.|Naty's guest house is down a small alley, it's a little strange as the signs above the building only mention about their travel agency, nothing about guest house.|I must admit my first thought was are we in right place as the front room was full of boxes etc, certainly not the normal reception area. However this said we loved the place, it's a right eclectic type place, the building looks like a DIY project gone wrong. You will understand what I mean if you stay here (please don't let this put you off staying)|Our bedroom was really comfortable, simple clean room, the beds were very good and the room was warm, we heard many people complain of cold hostels, this was not the case here. There was also a small electric heater in our room if you needed it.|The bathroom was just the standard, most times we had hot water but couple times the water was not as hot, probably just down to how many people using at a time.|The breakfast here was good, the table is set out before you go down, so you can help yourself to juice, tea, fruit etc. You also get choice of eggs, coffee and hot milk etc. |The guest house is well located only about 5 minutes walk to main plaza.|The staff here were all very friendly and the owners could not do more to help. They printed out our tickets for Machu Picchu and took nothing for it. They also stored our bags when we went to Machu Picchu. On the day we left we asked if we could have late check out, they offered us to stay till 12/1pm for no charge but we wanted later so only had to pay half room rate to stay till around 8/9 pm .|Definitely one of our favourite places to stay in Peru.|If we return to Cusco I would happily...
Read moreThis is amongst the worst places ive had to stay in my life. Bedsheets was dirty with hair and stains. The rooms smelled of old mold and the kitchenarea was beyond messy. The floor felt like it would break by walking on it. Locks on the doors are padlocks......and the doors dont close properly. If the person next door whispers you will hear it. The entrance area smelled of urine. The hot water on the termos in the entrance area smelled like a rat had died in it. Electricity wires on the floor, ceeling, doors, everywhere. Looks like they will catch fire if you unfortunatly touches them. The whole establishment is in a backalley and it felt creepy. The thing that makes me even give this place 1 star is that its close to the Plaza de armas and that the owner was quite polite. Not a place im staying in...
Read moreYou MUST stay here. Naty is an absolute gem. From the moment we checked in we were welcomed with open arms. We had a couple of early morning tours and she was gracious enough to set out a breakfast for us ahead of the normal dining time (much appreciated). We were able to leave our bags in storage at this place when we did the 2 day tour to Machu Picchu at no extra cost. On our final day, we asked if they could order us a cab as we had an early morning flight and they were more than happy to do so; they even came by our room the night before to inform us they had called that in. The rooms themselves are a great size and the blankets will keep you very warm at night. I highly recommend this place to anyone staying in Cusco. You won't be...
