Where do i begin ? This is a trip of a lifetime. First of all, for being a solo traveler i was received with clear communication and expectations from Walter from the beginning. He was so helpful with getting me to and from the lodge, hotel, and airport smoothly. Once i arrived at the lodge i was greeted with warm welcomes from the staff. Caesar, our guide, was so informative and planned the day perfectly whether rain or sunshine. He was so knowledgeable about all of the nature out there. We had so many activities throughout each day and saw snakes, sloths, caiman, tarantulas, monkeys, frogs, and so much more. Trekking the jungle is so worth it and we did that many times. We also went piranha fishing and then ate them for dinner! The lodge is comfortable enough for being so deep in the jungle. It is totally worth it. I wish i can come back and bring my friends next time. This is a must do experience if traveling to Iquitos or Peru in general. I wish i had more days to stay and connect with the nature. We also visited an Amazonian village and learned about the different plants growing, what they do, and how the community interacts with the jungle. What a trip! I can’t say enough good things.
